FAA regs say 30 minutes I believe. (plenty of time to get down below 10K feet) Unless it has changed since I last read them (been a while and my FAR/AIM is outdated and at home)

I know a pilot who told me it was 7 minutes, at least in the UK. When that happens, he is to decend to 10,000 feet where the air is breathable.
