I think so. A person is less likely to kill another person if they actually have to get blood on their hands. Firearms have made murder impersonal.

Probaby not. We would still kill each other and with out guns it would probably have to be done in a less quick and much more messy and painful way. Think of the romans and how they fought. Thats what we would end up doing.
