That's a tough one. I would think that any death taking place in a foreign country would be the responsibility of that country to chase up. But it appears to be a grey area in British law.

If there was a law against it, yes. I think that euthanasia should be allowed if the patient is of sound mind, can take that decision for themselves and can justify it. Otherwise, how do you distinguish it from murder?
-
Absolutely not. I consider it cruel that we don't allow euthanasia anyway (although I totally agree with tight regulation). Otherwise arrest everyone who travels in case they do something abroad that is legal there but not here!

Interesting question. Currently, there are no laws in the U.S. against an adult woman crossing state lines to obtain an abortion for herself or helping another woman to do so. Under that principle, there shouldn't be any laws against travel for the purpose of assisted death. However, there are many states that have laws against assisting a suicide. Those might come into play. If someone is arrested and charged for a situation like you describe, I predict that the case would eventually reach the U.S. Supreme Court.

yes, euthanasia is for animals, not humans. Humans have a way to overcome suffering, they are capable of more than they can imagine...think outside the box...our minds can overcome any suffering.
-
No, I don't they think should be.
