It wouldn't surprise me. I've seen people PB'd over a lot less than that.
-
Nah If you snooze you loose. If they get there and answer it before you with the same answer that you had in mind. They win. It happen to me a lot.
-
I would be in the penalty box everyday if that were the case, LOL. I am forever stealing your answer.
-
I would say no. Many do it on a daily bases and yet I see them post nearly everyday.
-
No, because how can you steal someone's answer? How could it be done? But if someone is doing something harassing with answers, they can be if they don't stop. If I type something and someone else happens to type the same thing, I don't see a problem with that. If someone else copies and uses that somewhere on purpose over and over, I can see that as harassment, but it has to be clear about who wrote it originally and that would be easily seen bu date, and no editing done to the answer as that could negate the whole thing.

Shouldn't be. For the record, anything I post on here, as far as I'm concerned, is public property. You may copy and paste all you want, if you really think it's worth it. The question is: is it really worth it?

I would have to think so, yo...

the pb is for getting mad at members and yelling four letter words and calling them names and getting in their face and telling them to go jump in the lake and being mean and downgrading their character. it can happen in just one tirade. usually a troll is the instigator and he gets off and you go to the pb.

1) "No, because how can you steal someone's answer? How could it be done?" http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/4167388 2) In some cases it won't be a problem, for instance if you just answer "Green" to the question of what is your favorite color. In some other cases, it could be a problem, especially if there are not many answer to the question. If your answer just does not bring any more information, it could be considered useless. If you are copying the answer of someone else, it is plagiarism. I suppose that especially if you are doing this regularly, you could have your answers down rated. If you persist you could get reported to the staff and have your account suspended (Penalty Box).
-
I can give you an example pre-penalty box where somebody did this. He copied and pasted answers from other users into the same question the person had answered. He was blocked from using the site, so if somebody were to do this I imagine that the staff would consider it a valid reason to PB somebody. That's a rather extreme case though.

Once or twice, I don't think so, but any activity that's excessive and/or disruptive is penalty box offense.
