I have Direct Tv installed in 3 rooms and I want to add a line to the garage. Can I just run a line from the dish to the garage? Do I need to buy anything for the dish to run the line, for example, another head to run the line from?

Sounds like a pain in the A@@. You would have to purchase another reciever and a dual LNB plus the additional reciever fee. Best bet is to probably just order from Dish Network and have the additional room installed for free, plus the free programming being a new customer.
