All holiday decorations are a cop out. The public has subcumbed to the virtual 12 a month a year of buy buy buy just because it is Christmas. Big Deal!

Yes they are. I don't understand the point of them and I would imagine they take more power to keep them on since there is a blower to keep them inflated. Plus, at least with other decorations you only have to worry about people stealing them. Inflatables you have to worry about random puncturings as well.
