  • Yes...You've just described my sister-in-law. Who I call the "Validator" She's the type of person that tells me ALL of her buisness. All her finances, what she pays for things. ETC.
  • A few thoughts on this one: 1) "Someone who gives, volunteers, helps others" - GREAT 2) "... and constantly reminds people of what they've done/are doing" - uh oh! It's one thing for it to come up just because you're arranging to do something together and that person looks at their calendar and says they can't because they have one of their volunteer things going on & mention that. But if someone is telling you about how charitable they are and it appears they're bragging .. or looking for something .. (validation or approval or "something"_) .. then .. to me, that means volunteering for all the wrong reasons. It makes all the time and positive energy being given .. about "them" instead of about the people they're helping. They may or may not be aware of what they're doing. Depending on your relationship with the person? You may or may not want to talk openly about it. If it's someone you've met once but will likely not see again, that's one thing. If it's your mother, uncle, cousin, son, sister-in-law .. that's another matter. Just my two cents ... :)
