Most likely, they get offended at anyone who says anything about god or jesus. I love family guy, and quite frankly they do a gr8 job with their shows, and xtians need to stop the "oh they pick on xtians" bit. Shows like family guy, southpark american dad, etc. joke about everything, and everyone; xtians,jews, homosexuals,politicians, celebrities, islam, etc.

I'm not bothered by a TV show making jokes. I don't believe that Jesus is my savior because everyone else does.

I think it's pretty safe to say most people get offended when they are insulted by anything or anyone, I don't think offense is limited to a particular religious group because Family Guy targets anything that has an opinion. The thing that's annoying about that show is that the jokes aren't derived from the plot most of the time. It's just random cut scenes of Stewie's clever quips and Peter's idiocy. The first new season after it's cancellation was the most watched show by teens in america, and I think it appeals to that audience because it focuses on apathy and doesn't commit to anything except preying on everything. It doesn't bother me when Family Guy mocks Jesus it worries me that the next generation will take that to heart.

Well I have to say what bothers me is that I used to like the show. But now they take EVERY shot at Christians they want. Or republicans of which I am both(yes OMG im a dirty R word lol). They CLAIM to be an equal opportunity offender, but they really arent. I never hear jokes about democrats or other religions(maybe once in a GREAT while), but how often to they attack Christians? Do I need to draw a fish in the sand now to keep from being eaten by lions? God Forbid we step on someone else's toes once in a while. And its not like making fun of my religion a few times is gonna make me that mad cause it didnt. But the 1st episode was pushing it, and i couldnt go 3 minutes into the next without hearing it again. I just know I wont be watching any family guy again.

Family Guy is my Favorite show. The Jokes about God and Jesus are very funny. So, they don't offend me. I am a Christian. What does offend me, a little, is this politically correct crap: Xtians and Xmas.
