If you had cheated on your partner and they found out about it, would you expect them to 'get over it' fairly quickly, or allow them to grieve through it their way, especially if you were going to stay together? Well.. if the decision was made to stay together, I would expect my partner to deal with the situation the best way they knew how, if it means grieving through it, when someone cheats on you it's very traumatic. I would allow as much time as my partner need.

After hearing this, my current bf always makes comments about me cheating on him. I'm not. What should I do? This is a sore subject for me, because I've been cheated on and it hurts. At least you are honest with him and acknowledged your mistakes in the past. Just because you cheated one time doesn't mean your going to cheat again. He needs to understand that you care about him, let him know that, if he sees you are all about him, the suspicious thought will stop.

The fact he talks to another girl on the phone may not be suspect in itself, but he should include you in the conversations.
