It is a combination of factors. Choice is a factor; but not everyone gets to choose parents, environment or other other factors of influence. However, it forces ISP's to hold and track your personal information for one year whether it is a bank account or credit card transaction.

Depends on the question. Some call for opinion, While others require a more philosophical or introspective approach. Answer to:
Do you think most religious people would still think homosexuality is wrong if you took away their religious beliefs?
The notion of "original sin" has got to go. Right and wrong have to do with choices and actions. Each carries it's own consequence. For me to judge another's lifestyle is like saying I'm incapable of making either good or bad choices. As for religion, believe what you choose.

First, Shatner was asked to reshoot the original StarTrek because the pilot episode featuring Jeffrey...

Am I wrong to NOT bother looking to get married if I don't feel there is a soul mate for me?
I think the concepts of marriage and soulmates are overrated. This notion that we are somehow flawed or incomplete without someone else is a load of equine compost. Sharing your life with someone else is a beautiful experiece as long as they are part of what makes you happy. Being with someone for the sake of not being alone can make life miserable for both of you.

OK. I will say it nicely. Using a Q-tip (no product endorsement) can pack ear wax into the ear canal. Over time it can block out hearing and cause discomfort as the wax builds up inside the ear. Go see your doctor and have him/her flush the wax out of your ears. You might be surprised how much ear wax is missed by a "Q-Tip".

No. It is true that "All Hallows Eve" evolved from earlier Pagan traditions. It does not imply that it has anything to do with the Christian devil. I propose a flat tax for everyone. As for government regulations, they exist but are not enforced to the level they need to be at to be effective.
I propose another stimulus. No. It won't be taken from...

Do you think that Obama should be re-elected for president? Why or why not.
At this point, I doubt anyone of any political party can get us out of this economic mess. It started with Regan breaking up unions and implementing tax breaks. Clinton, Bush Jr, and Obama are all equally guilty of promoting agendas that brought America to where it is today. Worst of all, it may all be intentional. When the economy collapses, which it will because no one Republican, Independent...

Money buys the freedom of a guilty man(OJ) but can't buy the life of a dying man(Steve Jobs). Isn't there something terribly unfair here?
This may sound a bit cold, but the only thing that does not discriminate by wealth or poverty, republican or democrat, employed or unemployed, healthy or sick, educated or uneducated, Muslim or Christian, young or old, famous or unknown, loved or hated, smart or ignorant, saints or sinners is death. How is that for fairness?

Why do people that have jobs think people who lost their jobs are lazy and that it is their own fault?
They don't. I've been unemployed 3 times in my life. I have also worked two jobs several times and have heard a lot of crap from those who have never lost a job or never had to work. At one time I lost everything and worked as a day laborer with ex-cons to get back on my feet. All the programs my taxes paid for and supported did nothing to help. I took jobs you would thumb your nose at, but...

Is America all about getting your own slice of the pie? Is the pie now moldy and made in China?
Good morning. Hate to bust your bubble. The pie is gone. There are no more slices. Those that own the pie will promise you a slice and con you into believing that you can have as much as anyone else; but they won't deliver. They will offer imitation and low cost imported slices, but they won't be anything more than lead and sawdust.

Is Jesus Christ the only son of God or did God create many sons?
To answer properly I would have to go back to pre-Constantine Nicene Council of 325 AD. There were a few opinions floating around. One was regarding the divinity of Christ. The basic premis was this: God has many sons and daughters. Jesus (the Logos) ranks above son or daughter because he was created by God for a specific purpose.
