Is it too much for an average college student to be taking 18 units (6 classes)- all of which are major subjects? I took 7 and received all A's. I think most people are capable of taking 5-6 as long as they have time to do the work. I sacrificed a good amount of money and social interaction to finish those classes, but I'm glad I did! I'd much rather go to school than work.

Theories of Gravitation have shown that masses attract one another (by which devices is certainly debatable), so I think it's safe to say that galaxies (which are very large collections of mass) probably do the same thing.

I am watching "Return of the Jedi". The rebels just blew up the bridge to a Star Destroyer and it starting losing altitude in space then crashed nose first into the Death Star. Would an actual craft in space do that or not? Would it "fall"? Considering the mass of the Death Star compared to the the mass of a Star Destroyer, I'd say yes. All things have some level of gravity, and since the mass of the Death Star is much more than that of the destroyer, it's gravitational pull would probably be enough to attract the destroyer.

If you and your partner are going to a party, who is the designated driver? I usually am. I like to stay sober when I'm with my girlfriend, because I don't really need to be drunk to have a good time, and I like to be able to take care of her if something happens. I also like knowing that she's getting home safe and that that I'm aware of what's going on just in case the situation goes awry.

ALL opinions wanted. I think tongue piercings are gross & disgusting but my daughters wanted 1 for so long. I'm thinking about letting her get 1 for her 16th birthday, What's your opinions & expierences? She's a great kid but I'm a bit hesitant I'd say let her do it, but make sure that the place you're getting it pierced is certified, clean, professional, and knowledgable. Ask to see the equipment they use. Ask to to see their autoclave, and if they don't have one, or won't show you it, leave. If their jewelry isn't sterilized and individually packaged, along with their needles and everything else, leave....
