I was 18 and had never had a period so my mom took me to the doctor and they put me on birth control to get my period started and I was on that for about a year and had regular periods but now I am 22 and have not had a period in 3 years. Whats wrong?
yes, seems that you have a hormonal imbalance. I dated a girl for years who did not have her period ever. She would only get her period when she was on the pill and then her cycle would start but off the pill, her period would stop. Best advice is to see a doctor and get some testing done.

funny. I really hope but doubt that you are trying to be funny. When I was in high school and in college (~10 years ago) my teachers/professors always said no internet sources or perhaps maybe only 1 online source. If we had a lot of sources online then we would fail. People are getting too lazy. Go to the library and get some real sources from books or magazines and do some research.

There are a lot of cute or beautiful girls out there so all things being equal, I prefer a girl who has a great personality. For me, better to have someone cute with a great personality than a beautiful/hot girl with a poor personality. But yes, physical appearance does matter because I must be attracted to the girl to be with her but when it comes down to it, personality also matters.

Some people, like me, don't believe or need further proof that the Bible is really the Word of God and that Jesus was really the Son of God. All that is in the Bible is written words, which were written by mortal men who are fallible and some people need scientific irrefutable proof.

What is a "power play" in ice hockey, why is it mentioned when a goal is scored?

My jack russel mix has thrown up 7 times in the last 18 hours. He only eats wet and dry pedigree dog food. He also has been shaking but is not cold, he has never done this before.
Obviously, since you don't know what is going on with your dog and he seems to be sick and hasn't done this before, you shouldn't take him to a vet or anything and just ask random strangers with no medical knowledge on the Internet for veterinary advice.

If your dog bit you, and it was a large wound, would you still not go to the doctor for fear they might put the do on the "Dangerous Dog's List" or even have the dog dissected to test for rabies?
I only like small dogs so their teeth and bite are not dangerous at all. But since I am the owner, I would know that my dogs don't have rabies and I would wash, bandaged the wound myself and punish the dog for his mistake. If after a couple of days, the wound looks to be worst, I might go to a doctor but I wouldn't go initially.

You did the right thing and as such should be proud. Don't be discouraged that some people are rude and aren't thankful. A majority of people would be very gracious if you found their dogs. Doing the right thing is often times good enough on its own. You can sleep better at night knowing that the dogs won't get run over or starved to death or be put down at an animal shelter. At...

I want to and I try to but my girlfriend is against me sneaking food into the theater. She is too conservative and likes to play by the book. Of course but I wouldn't use the word repulsed because that is a strong sounding word. Yes but with the saturated tv market the way it is, the show has to be very funny and has to stand out.
A huge example I thought of was the tv show:

Does a person with no children of their own have any grounds to judge a person's parenting skills?
Yes. People without children still know the difference between right and wrong. Some parents are just that - horrible parents. Also people without children once were children themselves and they can learn and know a lot about parenting skills what to do/what to not do from how their parents raised them. Just because people have children doesn't make them an expert on how to raise a child...

Is it rude for your significant other to wake you up at 4 a.m. to tell you that they love you? Or is this a sweet and spontaneous gesture?
I get it all the time from my girlfriend. I am used to it and a lot of it has to do with the fact that I am a night person and it is 50/50 odds that I am still awake at 4am. Getting late phone calls can get annoying very fast; however, in another way, I know that I am lucky to be so loved.

Can you explain the professional purpose of different pen names for books written by the same person?
one example:
Sometimes an author is a prolific writer and the author has a lot of novels that hasn't been released yet but is continuing to write more and more novels - creating a backlog of unreleased novels. Therefore, the publisher would have the author create a pen name to help get rid of the backlog of novels. See Nora Roberts and her pen name J.D. Robb.

If a field goal is blocked is the ball live and could be picked up and ran for a TD by the offence?
Yes, the defense can return a missed field goal for a touchdown. However, the touchdown would be credited to the special teams and not to the defense since a field goal is considered a special teams play. The TD would be considered under the heading 'return of a missed field goal' and not a blocked kick nor punt return.

Everyone has their own grieving process and it takes time. In the grand scheme of things, 7 months is not a long time. You will never truly ever forget your father (that that you would want to) but the pain will eventually lessen and with time you will be able to quietly heal and just think of him every so often.

How do you feel about entertainers making their CDs available to only certain stores? (selling them only at Wal-Mart, for example)
Artists have a right to do what they want to, have to, in order to make money, make a living, and to feed their family. It doesn't bother me because I understand the market we are living in. Besides in the technological day and age we are living in, if you really want a CD and that particular store is nowhere near you then either buy it online or download it.

What to you think about Ringo Starr being to busy to answer any more fan mail?
Ringo Starr has been in the spotlight for a long time - over 40 years since the 1960s. Maybe it is time for him to retire in peace and he wants to get away from it all, can't blame him there.
Similar to Sean Connery and how he retired and does the same thing (not wanting to be in the public eye) and he wouldn't come back, not even for a cameo in the fourth Indiana Jones movie.

Democrats, do you plan on rubbing Obama's victory in a Republican's face tomorrow?
no. It was a very highly fought battle between the Democrats and Republicans. Now that there is a winner, it is time for the country to heal and move on to more important things like solving the financial crisis, Iraq/Afghanistan War, and national debt. Gloating won't help and will only make the national divide even worse.

If you were voting on a referendum or proposition on gay marriage, would you vote yes or no?
I would vote no. While I had a lot of gay friends in college, know some gay people now, and I'm okay with whatever people do in their own bedrooms behind closed doors, I don't support gay marriage. I still believe in a traditional marriage and that a marriage should be something an act between a man and a woman.

How do I find businesses and/or organizations that would be willing to donate items like carpet remnants to our church without actually calling and asking (which seems so rude).
Have the preacher/priest ask after the service for help in finding donations. There's bound to be as part of the congregation a lot of small business owners who could donate supplies or employees of corporations that could ask their boss.

My older sister used to beat me up when we were younger - our parents both worked and she was always left in charge. I haven't spoken to her for 10 years and now she wants to get in touch. What should i do?
Depends on how old you and her were. But people tend to grow up, mature, and regret the stupid things they did as a kid. However, no matter what, she is family and she deserves a second chance. Ten years is a long time to hold a grudge over something done in childhood - beside siblings growing up are expected to fight with each other. Talk to her, it can't hurt.

Do you read one book at a time, or do you have several going at once? I'm reading 3 at present.
I like to only read one book at a time but I do read a lot. It all depends on how I feel, how busy I am, and how good the book is but I can start and finish about 4 books a week (each book about 350 pages on average) so I don't see a need for me to read more than one book at a time. I rather concentrate on one book, get it out of the way, and then start on the next book.

Would you marry someone who's primary language was not the same as yours?
Yes, even though English was the second language I learned, I have always considered it my primary language. Most of the Asian girls I date would consider their Asian language primary (Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese) and English second - but they all speak English. Otherwise, it would be hard to make a marriage work out because with any relationship, especially a life long one, communication is...

Why do you hate Hannah Montana? Are you jealous? Does her status bother you? What's the problem here?
I don't hate Hannah Montana because hate is a very strong word but I don't like her. I am not fan of her songs or her tv shows since I am not in the target age group. I just find all the commercialization and her popularity to be out there since she isn't a good role model for kids -with her partying, rumors of attitude issues and poor work habits, and dating older men.

With the holiday season coming up, getting a Wii will still be a little bit difficult even though the system has been out for 2 years. $400 for a Wii is worth it if she has the money, she can not find a Wii for any less in her area, and if she or the person she is buying it for really wants it.

How can I make decisions more easily? Dont say something silly like "flip a coin".

Answer to:
You work in a boring office. You have several co-workers, including one very quiet-natured, kind young man who has become your friend. What would you do if he showed up on a "most wanted" show on TV? Would you believe the TV or trust your friend?
People all have their own internal demons. Just because you work with someone doesn't mean you know him or how he is like outside of work. When I am at work, I am all business and on task but outside, I am totally different. I would call the cops on him and get him arrested and let the cops figured the situation out because to show up on a most wanted tv show, he would have to have done...

Why do people feel the need to attack McCain based on his age when Biden is 65?
I feel sorry for McCain since he honestly does seem like a nice guy but while he is 73 years old, he seems to be much older. Some of his older condition probably came from his mistreatment as a POW and his fight with cancer.
Biden acts and moves like a younger guy and he seems to have a lot more energy than McCain. If McCain and Biden are put side-by-side, it looks to me that McCain is...

Tina Fey: Is her Sarah Palin impersonation too mean?
I think Tina Fey's Palin impersonation is dead on. The writers based most of Fey's mannerism and comments on Palin's real life slang, comments, Palin's Katic Couric interviews. While Fey's impersonation is exaggerated, people know that it is suppose to be because SNL is a comedy show. SNL has made fun of McCain, Palin, Obama, and Biden.

I've spent about 12 hours straight reading with no distractions or interruptions before and I normally stay up reading for 6+ hours at night. Very talented, very young team. The team is loaded with potential and great starting pitching with David Price, Kazmir, and Garza. Plus, they have a fantastic core of Longeria (signed long term) and Upton, Pena, and Crawford. The team should be competitive for a long time but it will be difficult for them to make the postseason consistently because they are in the same division as the Red...

Do you get snow where you live?
I live in the deep south . It snows here about once every 8 years or so and then it is only a couple of inches. The last big snow storm we had in Atlanta was around 1993. We don't really get snow; instead, we get hail and ice, which freaks everybody out causing traffic to come to a stop and everyone to make a run to the grocery store for milk, eggs, and bread.
