I have a 1997 Toshiba TV, model CF32G50, that has no power. I replaced the batteries in the old remote. The TV switch doesn't turn it on. What is wrong and is it worth the repair? It was working fine before this. I know this may seem silly, but doing service work it is the first thing I check. Do you have power at the outlet? Try another appliance like a light. The breaker may be off. If you don't have power, that is the problem. If you have power than I wouldn't waste my money on a repair for such an old set. The prices on new ones is getting lower every day with brand new warranties.

We broke our lease with a 40 day notice and 4 months remaining, and lost 2 months deposit. However, the house rented 2 weeks after we left. Are we entitled to any of the deposit back? How do you dispose of used cooking oil? In my neck of the woods in Oregon cooking oil is recycled to make bio diesel fuel. A large plant here was funded by Willie Nelson and other investors and is growing in leaps and bounds. People use it in place of diesel. It costs a tad more, but U can get the same mileage per gallon while helping out our environment. As far as handling , other posters have covered that well.
