do you think that nuslims are cheeky by moving to the west and demanding mosques?
Yes. I don't understand why they plop themselves down in the middle of infidels, then demand a mosque and sharia law. I suspect they have a long-term plan, but we would rather bury our head in the sand and pretend what we see is not what we see.

Make your own mix of spices for curry and just leave out coriander. There are recipes for mixes of curry spices, so just look, since you will have to make your own version due to allergy.

Years ago when I was in India I bought a cook book and one of the ingredients was roof tiles, the clay type. No, you don't eat them but apparently they add flavor. Ever tried this?
Maybe it was a poor translation and they were trying to tell you to cook it in a clay pot cooker. I can't think of the name, I used to use one, but it was an Indian word.

The name of oprahs show today is called living with the bare necessities.Cause we all know she does huh?
I am no fan of Oprah, but I will venture to say that she once was very poor and she is still able to identify with people who have to live on a very tight budget. She probably feels like she is doing a public service by having this particular show, thus relieves any guilt she might feel about her affluence.

When I turn off my cable and Panasonic HGTV there is no problem . When I turn it on again the cable comes on but the red light on my TV just blinks red and doesn't turn on. It is like the the TV isn't getting the connection.. Any answer to the problem?
My complicated TV has a reset button on the side. The blinking lights blink in a certain way so as to tell you what kind of problem it might be. See if you have a reset button hidden behind a little side panel. You usually have to use a paper clip to poke the button. Try that. Good luck!

Work on a relationship first. That takes awhile, then you'll know where it's going. Over eager guys are annoying. I'm sure you're nice, but don't be desperate. You sound desperate. Desperate people do desperate things and then they live to regret it.

What are the benefits of many countries signing international agreements?
Lots of symbolism over substance. An attempt to pretend that different cultures can become as one and world peace will be achieved. Just look at the UN as an example and its members and how some of those countries are truly unconcerned about their citizens.
Like I say, lots of symbolism rather than substance and accountability.

I freeze my tofu. Then when I defrost it, I squeeze all the liquid out. Then I usually marinade in a soy sauce mixture. Anyway, freezing it changes the texture and I like it better that way.

Does FL have a home-school program? If he's that chronic, they might have a program that allows him to stay home and be visited by a roaming teacher from the district that keeps track of kids at home doing their assignments. Go to bat with the district for your kid. He needs to be educated. If he can study for the Good-Enough-Diploma, then he can probably do modified school work.

Umm, if this is a sign of things to come in this relationship, I guess you know what to expect. Maybe you should plan something special at 21 1/2 years since you just can't let the whole year go by. AB is not always an exercise in intellectual conversation. Sometimes it's just "me too-ism" answers. Just a distraction, just mindless fun sometimes.

What do you do to get really crispy chicken? I have a great recipe for taste but the texture isn't quite right.
Fry in peanut oil. The hotter the temperature of frying oil the better. Try Panko crumbs or your mix with them added in. Once you coat the parts with the crumbs, set the breaded chicken aside for 15 min to "dry" for extra crunch.

It was an illusion. And the illusion is continuing with the passage of the "stimulus" bill. The only thing they know how to stimulate are their special interest groups. If you aren't part of a special interest group, you won't be seeing much help. Very scary.

OK, so is there a dad in the house? Good moms tend to lean to the over protective side and good dads tend to allow a little more adventure. Reality,
Your sister is a very troubled person. You would have to be a very strong 17 yr old with your head screwed on right in order to have some kind of a relationship with her. How's your relationship with your mom? That's the one you need to keep right now. Drug people are usually very manipulative. You must keep your guard up.

Why can't I master rice?
Never used a cooker in my life! #1 Whatever pan you are using must distribute heat evenly (no cheap aluminum pan) and the lid must seal (no steam escaping). Follow the water to rice ratio. Bring it to a BOIL, then put the lid on and turn it to simmer. NEVER take a peek, yu ruin the trapped steam. Set a timer for suggested time. When timer goes off, Let the rice set 5 more min w/o lifting the...

I'm making peanut butter cookies and my first batch is crumbling apart and i want to know how to fix the rest before cooking?
Refrigerate the dough for an hour. If the dough is crumbly when you shape the cookie, you're going to have crumbly cookies. I'd add more PB for a richer cookie...and I'm thinking you made these from scratch. If not, then I don't know how to fix them.

It has to do with timing, the look in your eyes, the look on your face, your body language, your tone. Really funny people make it look easy because it comes more naturally, but you can hone the skills if you have the basics.

Depending on how social he is (my son was/is). He was perfectly happy to have a group of friends over for all you can eat pizza and grilled food of all kinds and desserts. At home is better because they can make all the noise they want, play music loud, etc. It still cheaper to make lots of food at home and take plenty of pictures for posting later. Make it fun!

Because he's cute and he's happy. When I channel surf I only can watch him for a few minutes because he never seems to get into the "meat" of the gospel. He sounds like he constantly gives milk. If i borrow $50k to buy equipment is the borrowed $50k I spend on the new equipment a business expense/cost? I can claim depreciation. I do pay tax on the repayments of the loan as it is considered income received.
That equipment becomes an asset, so it is treated differently than a straight expense that has no lasting value. Example, a truck is an asset which can be depreciated, but the fuel (expense) has no long-term value and is treated differently from the truck. If this is your first time in business, at least read a book on basic accounting methods.

Answer to:
Why would God spend the entire Old Testament telling people there's only one of Him, then in the New Testament reveal that there's actually 3?
If one has really studied the OT He does not "spend the entire" OT saying there's one Him. Genesis 1:26-"Let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness..." Why are the words US and OUR used? And that's just a beginning of the way a student of the Bible comes to understand that trinity of Godhead.

Bill is one of the saddest, angriest, most bitter people I see on TV. I saw some lengthy clips of the movie. He found the oddest, weirdest people as examples of some form of the "religious". Vanilla beans are difficult to find in my area of the country, they're also prohibitively expensive on my income. Can anyone give me a substitution guide for pure vanilla extract compared to vanilla beans?
Do you have a Trader Joe's or World Market? Stores like those usually carry a pure powdered/dry vanilla. The flavor is intense and it can be used in a recipe where cooking is not necessarily needed. Vanilla in an alcohol-type base usually has to be cooked out. I love the stuff and a little goes a long way.

Whats the best way to cook scrambled eggs
If you don't use butter, bacon grease is also delicious to cook the eggs in. Just a little in a nonstick pan. Never high heat. Mine are very fluffy because I watch them and push the edges into the center as they are cooking until nothing more runs. They are tender and no brown overcooked off flavors. Over cooked eggs smell like hair burning-yuck.

Is coffee better kept in the freezer, fridge, or at room temperature? And does it change depending on if it's ground or whole bean?
Cowgirl covered most of it, but I use whole beans which means you have to have your own grinder (mine is a burr grinder). Do not use the grinder in the store, it's tainted with too many other flavors-yuck. I only buy about one-two week's coffee at a time, so my beans are always fresh for the best flavor. You will notice the difference! Enjoy.

Why do all rich people go to Hell? Is it because of HOW they got their money, what they did with it, what they didn't do with it, or just for having it?
All rich people are not going to Hell. The Bible does not make a blanket stmt like that. If you are talking about the parable of the rich young ruler it is because when Jesus asked him to follow him, the rich ruler was unable to part with his wealth. Jesus understood how we can value our wealth more than Him and we need to be aware of that. Of course ill-gotten, unshared money is of no value...

Are you saying they were taken from you by the state or child protective service-types? If so, then you need to spend Christmas thinking about what steps you will take to get your children back and how you will change your life in order to be proper parents. You may need to ask for a lot of help to do this. If drugs are involved, you know what you have to do. Good luck!

We just bought a brand new house and noone has lived in it. My shower on my second restroom doesnt seem to have hot water. Little water is coming out except for the cold side. What could the problem be if this house is brand new
Look for the obvious first. If you have access to the actual hot/cold turn on knobs-like under the sink, etc. make sure they are both turned on. If the shower knob is a single one that mixes the hot + cold, you might have to pull off the knob and set the mix. Before calling a plumber, I would contact the builder and agent who sold you the home for proper recourse before you have to pay a plumber.

Why is the book, "The Last Lecture" so well-known? I hear it's good, so I've GOT to read it myself, but I want to know what it's like...
It's one of those stories about the brilliant guy, fairly young, who has a terminal disease and has time to share it with others so that they may be encouraged and never give up. Something like that. I read an interview of his, but I didn't read his lecture. He has now passed away.

Somebody adopted a cute indian baby, the reservation is now taking the baby back. Now the birth mother isn't fit to take care of her children, and all will end up going to a foster home on the reservation.. is this right?
Indians usually have some kind of sovereignty over adoptions of Indians. For example, in the 2 states i have lived in, if a child who has any bit of Indian blood and is registered with the tribe, enters the foster system, the state must include the tribal representatives about any decisions made about the long-term care of the child. The Indians usually want placement with other Indians so...

When I was younger I was Raped & Molested by 5 Older male Cousins. that was about 15 years ago and I only date women but am Extremely sexually Attractive to men why is that when my sexual experience with men was so painful.
Your cousins probably had the same thing done to them. There are homosexuals (not so "gay)") who are abusive and subversive because they are very confused sexually. You were young and vulnerable. From that point on your sexuality was ruined. It burns in your brain so deep that it cannot be erased. Good counseling will probably help, but this has to be "puked out" to...

Most people think Jesus died on the cross, but why do Muslims think he ascended into the air, literally? Why did the story change for them?
For a lot of reasons. But briefly, Muslims believe that Jesus was just another prophet-not God incarnate. To believe that Jesus died and resurrected would mean that there is no Allah and the prophet Mohammed has no message. This is a very short answer to a very loaded question.

I use different brands for different jobs. I was disappointed with Calphalon (esp for the price). I've been happy with Farberware, Scanpan, a few others and must have a good, seasoned cast iron pan. Avenging him means you are still thinking way too much about him and he still has power over you. Ath and crimp gave you good advice. He's a bad man. He will never likely be anything else. If your child does something wrong, like be rude or hit their sibling, etc. do you force them to give an apology, even if they say they are not sorry? I wouldn't want to force them to lie, but how else do you teach them the correct behavior?
I don't like insincere apologies. They mean nothing to me. However, the offending child must do something nice for the offended. Like serve him his lunch, put his laundry away, etc.,until he is ready to apologize with sincerity.

If a wife cheat on you several times in a marriage and each time . yall get back together she says she loves you. It works out a few years then here she goes again. Do she love me or I need to wake up.please apply to this question . I need many inputs.
She is probably a needy woman. The more approval she can garner from other men, the more it reassures her that she is "wanted". These issues tend to run real deeply. One man for her is good to have on standby, but it really won't fill the void for constant "am I desirable" questions circling in her head.

Answer to:
Is religion based around God or can people have a religion without believing in God?
The religion of self-worship seems to be the dominate one. So, no room for God in that one. This is not a funny. Many people set themselves up as idols and don't even realize it.
Answer to:
Does God plan when we die? Or is he just a bystander who knows when we will die?
If he were just a bystander, could you really worship a god like that?
He knows the number of our days. If you would like book and verse just let me know by comment.

Richard Dawkins has written: That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence. Logically, is this valid?
Dawkins is full of himself. Remember he is a zoologist who he speaks outside of his expertise all the time. He is probably using this logic to explain God away. However, to quote Ravi Zacharias , "The one who raises the question against God in effect plays God while denying He exists". No, I do not think it is valid in every case w/o exception.

Do all christians believe the only way to get to heaven is through Jesus? Does that mean all jews, muslims, athiests, etc are going to hell?
If you really are seeking a true and scholarly answer to that important question, you will have to go to another website or actually start finding out by attending a Bible teaching church (not one where people show up just to socialize and then live like hell the rest of the week). It so easy for people to dismiss "all religions" w/o really ever having studied ONE. Let's just...

If someone has a habit of taking too many things seriously, how can he change his habit?
Usually I have found that these kind of people have a hard time accepting their flaws. They forget that everyone else has flaws, too. Everything that happens is not "about how it affects" you. First, learn to laugh at yourself. You will be at the mercy of others if they sense you do not know how to do that. Learn to laugh with (not at) others. Start there and realize how little...

Drugs are a demon that people naively invite into their lives. Then it takes over their life and always wants more of them until it kills them. You may feel you can reason well, but you cannot. That's the deception. You LOVE the drug and nothing else. So, you need professional help. Trust me, other people know what you are up to. You aren't fooling anyone but yourself. Stop...

Why do some people still look at the color of someone's skin when determining whether or not to date them?
People are constantly "measuring" physical things about another person to date, skin color is just one of them. However, that one might carry more "weight" in terms of serious long-term commitment because in some areas "mixed" couples, and I'm not talking just about b/w, are stared at and pre-judged unfairly. And, to be real, different skin colors might mean...

Yes. Ouch. I've seen them done on cable medical shows. But wait...maybe those aren't transplants exactly, but the Dr.s are able to create a thingy being creative with what they have to work with using skin grafts and turning the right parts inside out, etc. I'm not joking.

Ummm, since I don't really know how old you are...i'll assume you are done developing. So, it's fairly normal to have a "dim" and a "bright". If we are talking a whole cup size or more difference, then probably eventually you might want to help the little one. However, nobody is perfectly symmetrical-and that goes for men, too. It's not that simple, of course. All I know is that I had to live the odd/even fuel days of Carter and the slow economy. We were doing fine in the 80's raising children and don't remember feeling strapped during those years. In fact, bought 2 houses during the 80's.

Can you actually think of a situation in which a girl made a man love her, although the man wanted just to sleep with her in the first place?Actual situation of people you know..And do you believe in winning someone over time with the right "moves"?
This would be about 2 self-centered people manipulating each other to get what they want. They would never love the other because they can't get over themselves enough to really care.

Answer to:
Could someone be so evil, as to just tell you what you want to hear just to sleep with you??? i am sooooo angry right now...i can't believe i feel for him again!
So now you have learned that you must never let him into your psyche again? He knows he can manipulate you all too easily and guys really don't respect a women for that. They LIKE easy because it serves their purpose, but they don't respect easy and will never LOVE easy. So start respecting yourself more and start looking for other things/people who can fulfill your life.

In the Bible it says that magic is not good but then when you read it ,it says that God said let there be something and i was, isn't that just like magic?
"magic" usually translates as witchcraft. People conjuring up magic/witchcraft are seeking to hear from evil spirits (of which God does say exists)but it is a form of seeking something from darkness rather than from light. So the word "magic" has occultic conotations. God is supernatural, all powerful, all creative.

Why do the boys loose there respect in highschool for the (female) teachers?
I've seen it in my school
and it should stop!
But why do they in the first place?
Boys at that age are trying to separate their identity from their mother's. They must flex their macho muscle and learn to become self-sufficient men. However, they are very awkward at doing this at that age. So by dissing the female teacher they are trying to communicate that they are tough and she must not cross the line and be overbearing. Again, perception at this age is sometimes...

Tell him that you are going to do something like, " I think I'll take you out for ice cream tomorrow", then when tomorrow comes and he asks about it, say, "Oh, I lied." Then you follow that with a discussion about how it made him feel for you to lie to him. I have raised 2 awesome kids. You won't have to do this very often to teach him a lesson.

Remember, you cannot change your past, but you can change your future. Reread that again. It's true. Bitter and angry people usually don't have friends for long. Why should they? They are very draining emotionally and it becomes a vicious circle. Treat people like you would like to be treated. At 2 years that is not uncommon. It will pass. Keep the routine. Put her in the bed she is used to and the time she is used to. She may have to scream and cry, but you should go in and let her know that you are there, reassure her for a minute or two. Then leave again. You cannot show angst. She may scream again, but then you go back in again after 5 min. to comfort her. Put your hand on...

First, I will assume you have been a wonderful stepmother who has not tried to get in the middle of the father- daughter relationship and screw up her life. So, do weekend getaways (she stays home). Encourage her to have a weekend social life, visit her Mom? Go see a movie? Volunteer with a group (church?). Help each other to be creative on ways to be separated for awhile. Stay positive.

Angry? I don't think it's anger I feel but more like incredulous at the ignorance of so many. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom... ( and they have none, but their own useless tripe). They are "grumblers, malcontents, following their own sinful desires; they are loud-mouthed boasters..." Read 1 & 2 Peter, Jude.

Why does God find homosexuality offensive and wrong? Most sins cause pain or hurt to other people, which is a logical reason for a loving god to condemn them. Why would a loving god condemn any sort of love?
Man is able to pervert any good thing that God created. This is called free will. People overeat themselves into oblivion. People think about themselves so often they become narcissists. People become compulsive exercisers, etc. etc. Well, hello, sex is subject to the same abuse/perversion. Do we say a 40 yr old man sexually loving a 10 yr old boy is just fine? Usually, but not always. As your skin tone changes, so will your hair color need to. As you get more wrinkles, (maybe you're still fairly wrinkle-free at 42)you'll notice how dark hair adds to the "weight" of the wrinkles and shadows on your face. Lighter hair helps reflect light, brighten ups your look if it's the right shade.
