My brother adopted a deaf dog about 3 mnths ago. Every time they go out, even for a short time, the dog empties her bladder & bowel in the same spot of the living room. I have 2 cats. One I found on the streets half dead and the other I adopted from a shelter. I chose not to de-claw them. Thats like ripping you finger nails off. Do you agree? Actually it is more akin to having your first knuckle removed, because you have remove the growing surface of the claw as well as the claw itself. I did not declaw my cats either and have not had too much trouble with them scratching furniture since they were kittens. I provide lots of scratching posts and trim their from claws regularly.

Does anyone feel that the Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card is probably the BEST series ever? It is certainly one of my favorites.

His sex is female but his gender is male, and he is still interested in keeping his original female sex organs to reproduce.
