"Infidelity appears to be on the rise...women appear to be closing the adultery gap and cheating on their spouses more often". This is supposedly according to new studies. If true, why stay married?
Good morning, Rosie...
While the statistic you are relying on comes from a "new study", I believe infidelity has run rampant on both sides for many years. Perhaps women are more comfortable with admitting it now but I find it hard to believe that the numbers are much different now then they were say, 25 years ago.
That being said, while cheating seems to be in the forefront of...

Well, my hubby and I wake up together, as the 4:30 alarm wakes me up as well. He's the one who actually gets up and I get up about an hour later. It's 6:12 AM right now and I am the only one up. I get my daughter up at about 6:50 and the baby follows at around 7 or so.

I suppose it depends on what your definition of "experience" is...
The greatest president in U.S. history was also the least qualified for the job. Several presidents who came to office with the most impressive resumés turned into White House flops. John Quincy Adams had been a senator, secretary of state and U.S. envoy to six countries before becoming president in 1825. But...

Not really a fair comparison as they are from different genres but I'll choose Dali as he is who has "spoken" to me the most. Would you be able to do a job that involved telling people their loved ones had died?
I think it would depend. If I had to do it abruptly with no time to spend with them, no. I'm too empathetic to be heartless. I think if I could be with the family for a few hours or so and sit with them, cry with them and allow them to grieve, I may be able to because I would rather them hear it from someone who is caring and concerned than the opposite.
Chances are I wouldn't have...

1. The students are little sh*theads who do not know the meaning of respect - for themselves or others.

The differences in your debit card regarding credit -vs- debit are...
You charge as credit: all you have to do is sign and sometimes not even then in a lot of places if the charge is under $20-$25.
You charge as debit: you must enter your PIN. The bank is pointing that out because the thief would need that information to use his card as debit.

It's important to stand behind what you hold to be the truth but to only change your view when "pressured" is BS and does not take integrity, it takes a weak backbone. Changing ones opinion based upon constructive debate and having all of the facts presented takes more integrity then simply stubbornly holding on dearly to the position you previously had.

Yes, this is completely normal. I'm not a dermatologist but having two kids myself I would guess it's in part due to your tummy growing and the skin stretching. Rub some Palmer's Cocoa Butter on your stomach and you'll feel better.

I'd be pretty surprised seeing as our family is extremely close and I know everything about their final wishes, arrangements that are made and the contents of their will.
And for those who state that they don’t care because they have their own “stuff”...monetary distribution is NOT the only purpose of a will.

Well, there really isn't a question here unless you're asking what you should do.
When you say "personal belongings" do you mean like your coffee cup? Your sweater? Where does she move them to? The lost and found or the closet? Do you have a locker?

What is something that you prefer to do the old-fashioned way?
Cook. I prefer to make things from scratch, when I can, as opposed to using "helpers" such as, for example, breading my foods with flour, egg and breadcrumbs instead of using something like Shake-N-Bake. It isn't possible to do so with every recipe but when I can, I prefer to.

If you look obviously lost and without adult supervision yes, I would bend down and ask you a couple of questions to ascertain the situation and then contact an authority in the area (hopefully there is an intercom system) or, in the worst case, I would call the police. I would only do the latter after attempting to assist you in finding your caregiver within the immediate area.

Well, compulsive comes from the word compulsion and it really means, in the way you're referring to, a strong, usually irresistible impulse to perform an act, especially one that is irrational or contrary to one's will. So if they're doing it contrary to their will, I guess I kinda feel bad for them and I would hope they'd seek professional help immediately.

I would say 5th or 6th grade. If I would allow them to walk home from school, I should be able to trust that they can handle themselves for a couple of hours. Of course, I'd expect them to call me when they got home and not to leave until I arrived. I would also have a snack ready and a list of approved activities they could do while I was not there.

Yes, I wear 4 of them...
- Wedding band and engagement ring...the meaning is pretty obvious.

Did John McCain deliver the goods at his acceptance speech tonight?
Not really and I thought it was funny how his remark "education is the civil rights issue of this century" was taken straight out of Bush's 2000 campaign. So much for widening the gap between himself and the current administration.
I don't think he really laid out any concrete plans that he has...I cannot wait for the debates. I will probably watch every single one of them.

Well, I've heard stories that mary jane lowers your sperm count so if I was dating to find a partner, probably not.
If we were just casually dating (i.e.: once a week or so) I don't think I'd care too much...they're his brain cells but I don't think it'd last too long.

If you had 5 people that needed to be saved from a fire, but only 4 you could save, which would you: old lady, the baby, pregnant woman, teenage boy, middle aged man. And why? You know that last person is going to die, is that the same as killing them?
If I must choose, I would leave the elderly woman. She has already lived her life.
Seeing as you set the rules, I'm not killing her; sorry to say, you are.

She is NOT pro-choice...she is pro-life and opposes abortion in 99% of circumstances. The only exception, for her, is with a doctor’s determination that the mother’s life would end if the pregnancy continued. She is a social conservative and is also pro-creationism.

Both of my cats sleep in THE weirdest positions sometimes...it gives my husband and me quite the chuckle. We think Zeus, who moves the most during naps, must be dreaming of chasing some other creature as when he is awake, he is quite the little hunter...always bringing us "gifts". You other cat owners know what I'm talkin' about. :D Sugar, who is the "typical" cat;...

Have you ever bought anything last minute at Walmart/Target and then used it immediately afterwards? (ex. I bought pants for a graduation and put them on right in the store)
When my oldest was potty training she had a couple of accidents when we were very far from home. She messed the spare panties I had brought for her too and I had to run into a Target and buy her some new ones.
For me; I was on my way to a function one evening and snagged my thigh-highs...luckily, there was a mall nearby so I just ran into Victoria's Secret and picked up a new pair!

I have a four year old and was married when I had him but not to the father of the child. Now all of a sudden the real father wants to take me to court to get blood tests and get him from me. Can he force a blood test?
Yes, he can petition the court to compel a blood test establishing paternity.
As far as the results enabling him to "get him" from you (i.e.: sole custody) the chances of that happening are slim unless the home environment which you provide is determined to somehow be detrimental to the child. Be prepared though, he will, in all likeliness be awarded some type of visitation...

While I can understand where the anger and frustration is coming from, especially for your husband, but obviously, grounding your son "permanently" really is not an option. Yes, I believe school uniforms are a good idea. To me, it has less to do with who can afford what, although that IS a factor, and has more to do with the inappropriate clothing I see on young women these days. Relationships such as marriages take A LOT of work. Saying "I do" has more impact on lives than many people recognize.

1. Of course he treats you well. He's hittin' an 18 YO. Are you kidding me?

Can you sit still when you hear old Motown tunes? Do you have a favorite?
Not really...it's hard for me to sit still when hearing ANY genre of music though when it comes to Motown, my first and foremost favorite is The Temptations...David Ruffin has the sweetest voice. After that, I'm going with Gladys Knight and the Pips...I mean c'mon, who can sit still during "Midnight Train to Georgia"?

No, you may get moon-eyed and hungry but not addicted to cigarettes. There are additives added to smokes that make them addictive...blunt wraps are unadulterated (except perhaps some fruity flavor) leaves which don't have all of that crap in them.

Wow. I never would've thought this would come from Australia. Huh. I thought the US was the only place that likes to censor art.

Because they, like everyone else, have the right to dress as they see fit. As long as they're in compliance with the dress code, i.e.: business casual, I do not see what the issue would be. She is unconsciously trying to figure out her place in the world and, by pushing and testing you, she is making sure you'll still be there when all is said and done. This is a natural progression of age so hold your ground, no matter what she does or says. These next couple of years will be the toughest while she is trying to find her own identity separate from simply being your daughter....

Sure. Why wouldn't I? It IS possible to have morals, integrity and the respect needed for one’s self and their partner to do so. "My property" being my vehicle, yes. There is a young boy who lives down the street who is autistic and he "drew" on my car with a rock. When you meet someone new, do you assume that they graduated college despite the odds being that they never attended?
To be honest, I have never contemplated it. I have interacted with morons who hold higher education degrees and intellectuals who barely made it out of high school. Only those who are hiring for a specific position within a company should be concerned with a person’s education.

I do not believe that you need a particular degree from a university. If you are hired, they send you to their own recruitment school. I know there is a specific name for it though it escapes me right now.
I think that police officers should have a psychology class under their belt though. I think it would be extremely beneficial seeing as they have to interact with a multitude of...

Well, he's a pretty great guy who doesn't really annoy me much...I guess if I had to pick one thing it would be his coughing in the morning. I don't know where it comes from but he coughs and clears his throat for about 5 minutes every morn. Why do men hit women?
Because they lack the self-control to use their communication skills to express their frustration and anger. Oh and obviously are SERIOUSLY lacking respect for their fellow human beings and themselves.
BTW, I think this applies to anyone who uses violence as a means of getting their point across; be it towards women, men, children or animals.

Well, unless you're psychic, there's really no way to.
It's not uncommon to fudge a bit on those things I mean, who really wants to admit they're thrice divorced and have gained a few pounds since that photo was taken? Take info on those sites with a grain of salt and reserve your final judgment until you spend some time with them, IN person.

You need to think with your mind and heart instead of your johnson. What you are contemplating is selfish and a betrayal to your wife. What do you say to cheer up a girlfriend when she's leaving for college and you wont see her for months as she starts to cry?
Buy the both of you matching pre-paid cell phones that are just for you two to use to call each other. Everytime it rings, she'll know it's you...like your own personal Love Line...from your heart to hers.
Words themselves will not be able to "cheer" her at this time...let her have her grief and hug her as much as you can...

Have you seen the movie JUNO? If you have, what did you think of it?
I buy a lot of films sight unseen. This was one of them. I picked it up on BluRay and loved it. The extras and commentary were great too.

I'm making a TV network, something along CNN meets the Daily Show and Colbert Report (my favorite hour of TV) What shows would you like to see on it and who would you want to host them (your hosts can be living or dead) and what topics should be covered?
The first person I thought of, which is obvious in my mind, is Tim Russert. He could do the hard-hitting interviews he was famous for. Chris Walken will to a book segment where he would sit for 2 hours and read the classics. Hell, he could read Dr. Seuss and it would be entertaining! Dr. Jung would have an hour to analyze the political figures of today and everyone would actually follow his...

Do you live in a dangerous neighborhood?
Not anymore. I lived in Chinatown for a while...off of Canal. It wasn't really dangerous per se but I was on alert whenever I walked alone at night. Of course, it's smart to be on alert anywhere in the City at night.
I lived on the West Side in Stamford for about a year, across from Pellicci's (a pretty famous Italian restaurant), on Stillwater. I had NO IDEA what the...

What did the Police want last time they were at your house?
I don't think the police have been to my home for over 15 years and even then, I can't recall why they came! Probably because a neighbor complained about loud music or something.

If you could wake up tomorrow morning with the ability to speak another language, which language would you like it to be?
Spanish. I live in the Southwest and I hablo poco espanol y entiendo incluso menos. Seeing as over 400 million people speak Spanish worldwide, I think it is the most useful second language to speak fluently...from an English speaking standpoint.

What do you think of the Three Strikes Law?
I think if the felonies are violent, then perhaps society NEEDS to be protected from such an individual. Those who are incarcerated under said law for felonies regarding drugs and such, I think are getting a raw deal. A majority of drug dealers do so in their youth and to punish a 27 year old for life because he sold some weed to the wrong person (i.e.: an undercover) seems extreme to me.

Answer to:
Is it acceptable for a parent to vent to their kids about the other parent?
No. It is NEVER acceptable to vent to your child about pretty much anything, especially their other parent. He or she is your child, NOT your friend. If you have the need to vent, which IS acceptable, choose an adult to do so to.

Do you find comedians funny or annoying?
It depends on the comedian. In every field of entertainment, there are good and bad. You may not like him or her but the guy next to you may think they're the funniest thing since Jack Benny!
