I wana buy a T-Mobile G1 bring back to Australia to use is that possible?i heard people say that u need to unlock it to do that way u need to sign a 4 month plan with T-mobile otherwise u cant un lock it.is that true??can any1 answer for me plz!!
You can buy it without a plan for about $400. You will need to unlock it to use Australian SIM cards. What I would do is go to a smaller cell phone shop (not T-Mobile's own center or electronics store) and talk to the guys there. Many of them would unlock stuff for you or sell unlocked phones.

Anyone ever try the weight loss pill lipozene? If so, how did it work for you?
The only fat burning pills that do work are the ones you can't get without a prescription. I am talking phentermine, fen-fren, amphetamines and the likes.
Any OTC stuff would only work as a placebo - i.e. if you strongly believe in it :)
Best weight loss pill - cutting down on pizza (spoken out of personal experience).

They will kill any algae eater you put in there, stop trying. Additionally, the water condition for africans and any algae eater are too different - either your cichlids or the algae eater will be very unhappy.
Use Algon, control sunlight, reduce number of hours your lamps are on per day, put in less powerful bulbs - all this will reduce algae.

Yes, but you would have to empty it completely and replace the substrate. The only way you could keep the substrate (assuming it's coral sand or something like this) is if you are planning to do rift lake (i.e. Tanganyika or Malawi cychlids).
Other than that - filter would be the same, just get rid of the protein skimmer and see if the lighting is ok for the new fish you are getting.

Check the fuses, then follow down by the power distribution and try to measure the resistance of the circuit containing the fan motor and see if the relay/switch turning it on is operational. I would not be too worried. Estonia is not Georgia, plus, even if they do get it to the referendum, the chances of it passing are very very slim.
From the Estonian standpoint you can see this as a partial failure of the integration efforts. Ideally, an ethnic Russian living in Estonia should put his/her loyalties with Estonia before his/her ethnicity, just like the majority of Russians...

It really depends on what makes your credit "fair". If it's too many revolving accounts (i.e. credit / store cards) then yes, closing some of them would help. If it's past due / missed credit payments or a bankruptcy, only the time will help.
I would suggest getting a detailed credit report from the big 3 and showing it to your mortgage broker. They will tell you right...

How can we do both and not ding our credit into "bad" status?
This can actually improve your credit score, if you don't request credit in too many places and stay conservative in terms of your car preferences (read: buy a Honda, not a Caddilac).
DO shop for credit before you shop for the car. No dealership can beat a rate you can easily get from a halfway decent Credit Union.
I would shop for a mortgage first, car loan second.

The check engine light keeps coming on my 2003 Jeep Cherokee. The current code is P0601. It happens twice a year. WHY? The dealership always has a problem to fix when this happens. It drives fine.
P0601 is a "bad PCM checksum" code. What this means is that the OBD (on-board diagnostics) has experienced 6 errors while trying to communicate with the PCM (powertrain control module). The bottom line is your PCM went bad and it has these intermittent problems.
Some shady dealerships may just reset the code and the MIL light and send you on your way after charging you a couple of...

I HAVE A 1999 FORD EXPLORER AND THE TIMING CHAINS SEEM TO BE MAKING A RATELING NOISE , IS THIS A BAD THING AND CAN IT BE SORTED .... THANKS SIMON
Yes, the chain wears out faster if it's rattling. On most engines with the timing chains you can actually fix that by unscrewing the tensioner bolt a little, then moving the car (downhill for example) in last gear so the wheels would turn twice (i.e. the engine would turn twice too) without starting it, then tightening the tensioner bolt once again. Check your repair manual, it's...

It is not entirely correct to assume U.S. has been neutral up until Pearl Harbor. The Lend-Lease has begun prior to the Pearl Harbor attack.
The best way to study this subject is to follow the life cycle of U.S. Neutrality Act passed in the 30-s, that was consequentially amended many times as the WWII unfolded.

If you have a enginge light lit, the first thing you should do is get to the dealership and ask them to read the DTC codes of your honda. It's a 5 min deal and if you ask nicely they'll do it for free just to give you...

Any food product (including bottled water) has a use by date. I once tried a bottle of vodka that was 8 years old - it wasn't really good, I guess due to the problems with the packaging. The corks on vodka bottles are usually not as airtight as the ones on old cognacs or whiskey.

Check the wiring going to the fuel level sensor in your tank. If both the light is lit and the gauge shows empty, most likely the float in the level sensor is leaking and letting in gas or the wiring is bad.
Wiring is easy. Fixing the sensor can be harder because you may have to take the tank off.

Could a game of chess go on indefinitely, or must it always end in checkmate, stalemate or resignation?
A game where the sides can (and do) repeat the moves indefinitely is ended as a draw. Various leagues have different rules on this, typically repetition of the same move 5 times.
This is, of course, provided that it's not a timed game.

What tool do you need to take a caliper off a F-150 truck?
Sockets, wrench (may need a breaker bar, depending on how strong you are;), plus on some fords the caliper pins have hex holes in them so you'd need an allen bit for your wrench. I was able to take one off by inserting a screwdriver bit in there and using a closed wrench, but it was pretty hard.

My monitor is turning different colors. I turned the computer off and restarted it. It would say windows is starting up but then it would start all over. Do anybody why?
The signal is delivered to your monitor over 3 separate wires for Red, Green and Blue components of the color. One of these wires most likely has bad contact so your colors are jumping around. Wiggle the video cable plugs on the computer and the monitor, see if your colors change as you do it. If they do, you may need to replace the video cable / video card.

My car needed a new mass air flow sensor we replaced it and 2 days later it is shifting hard. The car was just serviced and got a tune up. any ideas?

Try pulling the relay switch associated with this circuit, in the wiring, it should be between your fuse and the wiper motor. If unplugging the motor doesn't help it most likely is the relay.

Yes. French tend to speak without making stops between the words, so unless you actually know the words it is much harder to break apart a sentence. Although European Spanish is also quite fast you can actually make out distinct words even if you don't know them. Grammar is about the same complexity, pronunciation is harder.

Is there any way to use my NIntendo Wifi USB Connector to plug into my Xbox 360 to have it act as a wireless adapter so my Xbox can connect to my wireless router? I'm hoping to use the Nintendo Connector as a substitute for the $100 Xbox adapter.
No. Search the internet for WGA11B - you should find it for around $20. Works like a charm for me.
Answer to:
Why is it important to change the Clutch Fluid in your car?
There is no "clutch fluid" - all hydraulic clutches use break fluid. The reason to change it would be the same as for the brake system flush / fluid change: with time (A LOT OF TIME) the fluid loses its qualities and may cause corrosion in the system.
Unless your vehicle maintenance schedule specifically calls for it, don't listen to the mechanics who will try to convince you...

Is Fentanyl legal?
Fentanyl is a very strong analgesic typically used during operations, in a hospital environment. It is about 8-10 times more potent than morphine.
It is a "controlled substance" in most countries and posessing/selling it without proper permits would be illegal.

Hubby'll owe taxes if we file separately. Never filed joint return before. I'll get a refund. If we file jointly-will that potentially reduce/eliminate the amount he would owe? Haven't crunched the numbers yet (will soon), any help would be appreciated.
Any online tax filing service offers you the service to compare joint vs. separate returns. Normally, if one of you earns a lot more than the other and you don't itemize (i.e. file standard deduction) filing a joint return is actually better. If you do find that is the case I'd go to an accountant and ask if you can file amendments to your previous year returns - this may be possible.

Answer to:
Wat is primary dns server and secondary dns server it comes up when im doing my xbox live setup
These should be set up by your router automatically. DNS servers are servers that resolve names like www.answerbag.com into IP addresses used by the network protocols. If your Xbox can't get these settings from the router automatically, you can look them up in the router status and set them manually.
Answer to:
Could a big heap of underwear on the road stop a car or will the car just drive right through them? Would the underwear somehow get entangled n the wheels or the moving parts of the car e.g. fan/shaft?
It would have to be a very big heap. I would say a car would probably turn over first after a jump on such a heap. Stopping a fan won't stop the car, and your underwear has to be bulletproof to even try stopping the crankshaft at full speed.

My bf is an m.o.t tester and he did exhaust emmitions on an audi 3 litre 3 6 the carbon monixde levels and the hyrdo carbon levels came out 0.00 on both so why is it the goverment charging higher road tax for bigger vechicles ? uk
Because presumably a larger vehicle would cause more road wear than a small one, regardless of its carbon output. I would agree though that the American system where road taxes are included in gas (petrol) excise is more fair because it accounts for actual usage.

I'm 17 years old and I have several symptoms which could indicate either a hormone imbalance or depression. I'm incredibly tired all the time, I have quite bad skin, usually very irritable/sad and have feelings of hopelessnes.. Oh what to do!!?
Your skin condition is most likely either due to your age (and indeed temporary hormone imbalance) or it can really be a result of anxiety/depression. I would leave the skin issues alone and focus on your mood - talk to a doctor.

How would I know if I needed a new motor? What are the signs of knowing that its the motor and nothing else?
Try locating where the sound comes from. One interesting way suggested on Car Talk is taking a rubber hose ab. 5-6 foot long and putting one end to your ear another at different places under the hood to locate where the noise is coming from. This might give you some clues, along with the nature of the sound, whether the sound is consistent with RPM or driving speed and any other malfunctions...

Yes, if you either have a concealed permit or keep the weapon outside of your immediate reach (i.e. in the trunk). Some state laws vary on the subject so check with your local ATF to be on the safe side.
In most states, it's not to hard to get a concealed permit if you don't have a criminal record.

Can I buy an unlocked GSM cell phone put in a US sim card and buy minutes from any GSM provider? This all sounds too easy to be true.
Yes, that's how it works pretty much everywhere else outside U.S. and that's why we here got such crappy phones from the networks.
Now, you can only buy minutes from the provider whose SIM card you are using, to be exact, and the phone needs to support U.S. GSM frequencies - i.e. be quad-band or tri-band U.S. specific.

A common argument against Evolution is that something as complex as a DNA strand cannot just 'come into existence', and thus there must be a creator/God. Wouldn't the creator be just AS complex if not more so, and thus face the same problem?
Wait wait - now they will tell you that god is so special regular laws of logics don't apply to him and he exists outside of cause and effect chain, outside time and universe and outside the reach of our comprehension;)
To rephrase your question in Bertrand Russell's terms, if something as complex as god could exist without being created, why something less complex as the universe...

Our new pleco has red patches all over him and is acting like he is going to die. What should we do?
You should've started with "goldfish". Goldfish are very dirty creatures - they are very active, eat a lot, poop a lot and are VERY messy. Many people (me included) won't even buy your used tank if they new you had goldfish in it. Very few fish can co-habitate with goldfish, and plecos are not really hardy enough.

Depends on the engine/accessories. I would say Charger is definitely roomier and more comfortable, plus Chrysler now has unlimited powertrain warranty. Mustang, however, will probably hold its value better over time if you plan on keeping it for 10 years or so, and is a bit more fun to drive.

You only need disc brakes if your rims get wet anywhere on the trail. Other than that they do look cool, but in my experience regular breaks have better stopping power. Most of the modern mountain bikes would have 24 or 27 gears - Shimano (one of the few popular bike parts manufacturers) makes 8&9 speed cassettes and you typically have 3 speeds on crank, so most modern bikes would be 24 or...

If I am granted a green card do I have to use it immediately, or can I hang on to it until I decide to move to the US?
If you are granted a green card you will need to be in U.S. for more than half the time to maintain this status.
Answer to:
Do you think that lawful permanent residents with a green card should be allowed to vote in the U.S. if they work, pay taxes and don't commit felonies?
In fact, the constitution does not set citizenship as a requirement to be able to vote. The only time these two are mentioned together is in the 26th amendment that specifies that states can not deny rights to vote for citizens once they are 18.
Historically, non-citizens were voting in local elections in many localities in the U.S., as soon as they either owned a property or paid taxes.

Yes. One of the components of your score is based on whether your cards are maxed out or not. In other words, having a $10000 limit card with $3000 balance on your credit history is better than having a $5000 limit card with the same balance. I would not request increases since this generates an extra enquiry in your history but definitely do accept them.

If I visit and foreign country and violate one or more of their laws should I be subject to that country's legal system and punishment or should my governent intervene?
It does matter who you are. People with diplomatic immunity are can not be tried by host country's legal system. There was a widely discussed case in Russia when a U.S.Embassy employee with diplomatic immunity had caused a traffic accident with casualties. Had he not have a diplomatic immunity he would have been tried for involuntary manslaughter.

Is it possible to create a shadow to shield the Arctic/Antarctic from the sun (not entirely obviously) as an emergency measure to curb / stop the ice sheets melting?
They are melting because the air is less transparent than before and it gets heated by the sun more. See "greenhouse effect".

Answer to:
If I visit and foreign country and violate one or more of their laws should I be subject to that country's legal system and punishment or should my governent intervene?
It depends on:
1. Whether you visit as a tourist, have a diplomatic immunity, or are in the military.
2. What law you violate and if the same actions would get you in trouble in your home country.
3. Whether your govt. decides to "intervene" and request an extradition and try you at home.

Gromyko wasn't a President of the Soviet Union. The first man to have this title is Gorbachov. Gromyko was a Chairman of the Presidium of Supreme Soviet, i.e. head of Parliament. Has anyone ever heard of a small village in Russia called Zobodnik or Zavodnik whose residents would all participate in an annual town cleaning? My boss has an annual office clean-up day (Zabodnik day) and refers to this village. Cant find anything on it.
What your boss refers to is a Subbotnik. It's not a town or a village. It's a practice during the Soviet times when people were made to clean up at work or around the city on a Saturday (Subbota in Russian).

I was just diagnose w/ Bipolar (manic depressant) and was prescribed Paxil. Can anyone give me their opinion on this drug or their experience with it?
Other people's experiences are not relevant. It will either work for you or it won't and your doc will switch you to something else. You will hear people swearing by and at it with different outcomes - this is normal, with modern SSRI's the only way to know whether they work for you or not is to try.
Follow your doc's prescription, DO NOT quit abruptly and DO NOT skip it....

I have a 1993 ford taurus 3.8L V6 automatic. I retrieved these fault codes from my car: Code 157, mass air flow sensor fault, low voltage, Code 172, HEGOsensor fault/lean, Code 452, vehicle speed sensor signal fault. Can you tell me what is wrong?
157:
Possible causes:
-- Poor continuity in MAF sensor harness or connectors.
-- Intermittent open or short in MAF sensor or harness.
-- Damaged MAF sensor.
-- Idle Air Control (IAC) system failure (at closed throttle position).
172: lean means not enough fuel in the mix. Fix the MAF, replace the PCV valve and see if you still get the code.
452: Either your PCM or speed sensor are...

I have a question, I have a 2006 Nissan Altima, I accidently filled anti-freeze all the way to the top. Should I worry? Should I attempt to remove some of the anit-freeze out?
If you overfilled the pressure bottle (the one having hot full cold full marks) just stick a rubber hose into it and syphon the extra coolant out. Make sure to dispose the coolant properly - cats like to drink it and then they die.

I have just gotten a 40 gallon tank that once housed a reptile. I want to put fish in it. How do I clean it so that it is safe for tropical fish?
Do not use any soap or soap-containing cleaners. Get some pure ammonia from Wal-Mart (it should not foam when shaken) and use that diluted with water if there are any hard stains. After the cleaning wash it out with some water again. You could also try pure alcohol.
Just stay away from any bactericidal agents (soap, lysol, etc.) or your tank will take ages to cycle.
Answer to:
Can I Make A Saltwater Aquarium With A 10- Gallon Tank
Yes but it will be VERY hard. If it's your first marine tank, I would advise you not to do it. Plus, the most you could keep in it would be 1 2'' fish.

I have all community fish first of all. My problem is that my ph will not move. It's at 7.6 and has been since day 1. I've used decreaser 3 times. 30 gal tank, no wheel, white pad.
Get a tap water sample and set aside for 24 hrs, then measure pH - if it's 7.6 as well I think the best thing would be to do nothing. Most community fish adjust easily to slightly higher or lower pH than 7. In fact, your use of decreaser is doing them more harm than a stable 7.6.
If your tap water is more alkaline (8+) you probably have something rotting in the tank or have some...

Not more than 12 hours a day, also consider how much ambient light your tank gets. If you are getting too much algae it's too long.
Answer to:
My water keeps going cloudy after i do a tank change in my cold water fish tank
Cloudy white is bacterial bloom. Cloudy green is algae.
Measure your ammonia and nitrates. If non-zero, your tank is not fully cycled. If zero, proceed.
In the first case, you are probably changing too much water. Try changing 1/4 or 1/5 and measure your nitrites, if they stay below 50-60ppm with these water changes you are golden.
In the second case, your water probably has too much...

You don't, it's not a serviceable part. Factory service manual calls for a replacement if faulty. On most engines it is very easy to replace since it is typically in a very accessible place. How do you know it needs cleaning? What year/engine type do you have?
