I received this hate mail two days ago from an Atheist. Most atheists believe that their lives should have inherent value because they don't believe in an afterlife, so an atheist wouldn't refer to those that believe that life has value in and of itself as being "deluded". I feel the community spirit of AB has gone now. Who feels the same way? Wont they change it back? It does seem to have created an additional wedge issue. Some of the people who accept the changes weren't happy with the previous AB and some of them have been rude to those who are unhappy with the changes. Conversely, some of those who liked the old AB have been rude to those who didn't and toward the staff in general. In that way, it has definitely disrupted whatever community...

I excersice for 2 hours daily. cardio & free weights,body pump classes,spin - i am extremely fit. i eat a healthy well balanced diet. lots of fruit,veg,lean meats. only im not losing weight neither am i losing inches. what am i doing wrong? Muscle weighs about 7 times as much as fat per unit volume. It could be that by lifting the free weights, you're gaining more weight in muscle than you're losing in fat. The more repetitions you do and the less weight you lift, the less bulk you'll gain.

I think with AB's current lags in updating user information that if you change your DR to a UR soon afterward, then the DR won't show. Therefore, it won't count against your approval rate.

Have you ever had your fingers caught in a mouse trap? Yes, but it was an experiment to see how much of the trap's full force I could take. The trap was unloaded, so I pried it up and slowly let it press back down on my fingers. Slowly applying the full force wasn't that painful, but it was enough to help me realize just how painful it would be if I actually got snapped by it.

The Swiss are voting on whether to ban the building of minarets, against a background of criticism from rights groups. Switzerland (population 7.5 million) has 400,000 Muslims and just 4 minarets across the country. Your thoughts? To me, such a ban would be another example of a tyranny of a majority over a presumably innocent minority. In that regard, it would be the same as if they banned the construction of synagogues, or made it illegal to be of Chinese ancestry in Switzerland.

If so, then trying to unscrew the bolt will only result in turning it and the nut, without unscrewing it. After that it took me awhile to figure out who it was because AFAIK, there aren't any records of previous lists, so I had to rely on my memory of my previous list.

Is there a real compulsion for pulling hair out of drains, cleaning out pipes, etc.? My mother has this sickness. "...cleaning out pipes" . Are you referring to drain pipes? . If she's actually finding hair in those places to pull out, then it's not a sickness. . However, you could say it's a compulsion to keep the drains from backing up.

"New" should appear next to any unread answer or comment that you've received, and it should disappear once you've gone to the new feedback. However, because of the frequent AB update lags, it usually won't go away for awhile after you've gone to the feedback, but it usually will if you "Mark all as read".

The medium sized gets picked up 1ce a week and the bigger one is emptied once a fortnight. We have a smaller bin for trash. We have a larger bin for recyclable material (glass, paper, plastic bottles, tin cans, aluminum, etc.), and another larger one for plant material (grass trimmings, branches, leaves, etc.). All three are picked up weekly.
