I am a mum of 3 daughters, 2,7 and 9. I stayed at home for quite a few years but now I am working because we have bills to pay. I am so tired, and I would love to stay at home but I know that a) We couldnt afford it and b) I would get bored stiff too. Im at the point now that when I come home from work I have no energy for the children, I am grumpy because Im tired and after i cook dinner for...

I am 39 weeks pregnet and having lots of rectume and vaginal pressure its hard to walk when i sit im fine also, loose stools and pain during bowel movements. What could this be please help
You need to tell your midwife or doctor so they advise you on what to do. You should get lots of rest now and the pressure may be a result of that fact that you are just about to give birth, and you happen to have a babies head lodged there! Enjoy your baby and good luck with the birth!

Ok my sis pet rabbiot almost starved we healed it. i'm taking care of it my mom has a friend who said milk will get it better or make it die. so it wont have to suffer. ok well today i've fed him lil grass a lil pears and about a whole squish.what else?
First of all, how old is it? then we can get a better picture of what your up against. You can hand rear rabbits, but hand rearing a rabbit is a hard thing to do., with many unsucessful outcomes. You can get a special formula from the vets and they can give you very good advice. Good for you for trying to give the rabbit a chance of life, I have tried in the past but it died soon after. When it...

I just got a new rabbit she is 8 weeks old and i put her in my iavery with a female rabbit and a guinea pig i got her out tonight and she at a little wet patch on her back and her skin was split open do you think my female bit her she is a little bit agro
It is probabley your older female rabbit who attacked your 8 week old rabbit, as she was there first, so it is her teritory. Rabbits dont like living together unless they are altered. They will fight over whos home it is and it can get very nasty. I would seperate them right away, and if you want them to live together then you will have to get them both altered. Also, Im sure your guinea pig...

My rabbit is accidentaly killing her babies over and over again!! Does she have an anger problem? Whats wrong with her?
dont let the poor little kits suffer any longer! get her spayed before it happens again.
Answer to:
Our rabbit gave birth to 6 kits. this was her first litter. 2 days on we saw 2 kits dead. one had a couple wormy things crawling on it. 1 day later other were dead. hutch was clean before birth but i didnt want to clean and disturb when born.?
Your doe might just be an inexperienced mother, if this is her first litter. I dont know why the kits died, it sounds like you did everything by the book like taking the buck out and making sure she had a clean hutch with plenty of hay etc. Maybe they might have been deformed, as I know that the mother does toss out any that could potentially be a burden on her and her milk suply. If the hutch...

Answer to:
I have 2 female rabbits 1 of which could be about 27 days into pregnancy should i seperate the two rabbits so the pregnant 1 can be alone incase the other 1 eats her babies?
You should seperate them as soon as possible as the pregnant doe should be on her own in peace and quiet, and have her own teritory. There is also a risk that the other doe may interfere with the babies and harm them. Once they have been seperated, they probabley wont want to live together again because they will fight over teritory. This is what happened to my two sisters. They both had a...

I have female rabbit who is pregnant now on her day 37 after breeding, and she definitely is pregnant because I saw them breed and we can see the babies moving around. Why hasn't she had them yet?? She acts normal, eats, but hasn't had kits yet. Any help?
We also had a doe that was overdue and she gave birth on the 36th day after breeding. The babies were fine and the doe was fine too.
Answer to:
What age do you consider old to have children? Please put an answer for the mother and an age for the father.
40 and 40 to be honest. My mum had me at 40 and now I am an adult, I dont feel we had any time to enjoy things as two adults because our tastes are so different. I had my daughter at 18 and I know this is young but at least I hope we will have a lot of adult time to do things together that we both like. We have planned so many things like travelling together etc. :-)

What is a good hourly rate for a full-time nanny? The position would be to watch a 3-month-old Mon-Fri 9-5, clean the house, run errands, accompany family on vacation, wash the laundry.
1,000,000 per year. No, honestly! ;-)
Answer to:
My daughter is 18months old and still in a cot i wanted to move her to a toddler bed when should i do this
when you have enough energy to get up in the night and keep putting her back into her own bed! No seriously, I have a two year old and I have the same challenge to face soon. I am getting her a proper bed for her 2nd birthday so will be doing it then on. If your tot is happy in her bed and she has enough room then you could try waithing a little longer. good luck!

Weight for my 21 month old daughter.. She weighs about 27 pounds or so and is very active for the most part. She has started being a very picky eater within the past month or so. She eats some days and others not so much. Is 27 pounds ok for her age?
My daughter is 23 months old and she is 22 pounds. She loves her food, we all eat a meal time together and she loves eating. I think her weight is ok for her age but if your worried about her picking, then try a whole range of different food. Eat at the same time and if you eat a good meal infront of her then she will be more interested in trying new things. Also make it into a game, try one...
Answer to:
If I put female rabbit with my male would she get pregnant when she shows redness in her area
It will only take about 5-10 minutes for the doe to get pregnant, if you watch them during the time they are together the buck will mount her, thrust and when he has done his business he will squeel with delight and fall off her onto his back. You can then expect the kits to be born around 30/31 days later. Give it another week after her due date and if she still has not yet produced kits then...
Answer to:
My rabbit had her second litter today and there was a little bit of blood around the hutch. Also the nest she has made is different to the last one is this normal? She had two babies in her first litter and they are four weeks old.
Im not being rude but try not to let this happen again as the stress on her body will be huge. Plus is there really any need to rebreed her again after only 4 weeks?

I just had new born bunnies and I don't know how to take care of them,I don't think the mom has been in the box with them all night,do I need to do anything?
The mum normally stays away from the babies so she dosnt draw attention to them. She will only go in to feed them early in the morning or during the night so you probabley wont see her in with them. Its best to just leave them and go and check on them in a few days to see how many there are and to make sure they are healthy. Im sure that your doe is doing a good job being mum, and its really...

My rabbit had babbies last night. also last night apparently one of the kits fell out, my cat lola brought it to my mom. We checked on them this morning and the one that lola brought has it's ears torn off, help what should i do what will happen to it?
A really tough one, I feel for you to be in this situation. If you put it back in with mum then theres a good chance she will reject it anyway, so it would be out of your hands so to speak. Theres not much you can do because raising baby rabbits is a really tough process, with not many surviving. If I were you then I would put it back in with mum and let nature take its course. Good luck :-)

My rabbit had only one baby in her litter last year which died, she gave bith to 2 babies 3 days ago, which have also died, do you think if i bred with her again the babies will die again, or shall i not breed her again and why do her babies die?
If I were you, then I would not breed her again. If they keep dieing then its only going to cause discomfort and stress to mum and her dieing kits. I dont know why they would keep dieing, I guess some rabbits are better mums than others?

Okay; what do guys ACTUALLY look for in a girl, physical aspect only? No guy will give me a truthful answer, and I'm getting currious. Personally, I'm sure girls and guys look for totally different things in the opposite sex.
Right, I am a woman and what I find attractive in a GUY is his sense of humour and confidence. I have found the most unattractive men intersting if they know what they are talking about and they make me laugh. A fit body is a bonus... but its the mind what pulls really... from a womans point of view! :-)

Do I "have" to love my mother? Is it an obligation?
Your mother is the person who brought you into this world. Do you not love her? sometimes I wonder if my children love me... especially after the school run when I go a bit mental trying to get everyone ready! but at the end of the day its your mothers job to show you how to love... by loving you. :-)

Answer to:
One of my three female rabbits has become aggressive and has bitten me. Why would she do this?
Perhaps if she is kept in the same hutch as the other rabbits its her way of telling you that she is unhappy and wants her own teritory? Rabbits are very teritorial, and in my experience once you sepperate them they will not want live with their hutch mates anymore as they love their own space. But getting them neutered will spot this and then they can live happlity together. Only a suggestion :)
Answer to:
We got 3rabbits form the feed store & they fit in the palm of our hand, They told us they were about 6 wks old.We got 1rabbit from a breeder and were told that he is 8 weeks old. the new rabbit is 3x as big as the others.About how big is a 8wk old rabbit?
It really depends on the breed. Even rabbits in the same litter can vary in size a great deal. Your pet store should not have accepted the rabbits from the breeder at only 6 weeks old, and they should not have sold them to you at this age. The correct age is 8 weeks old minimum, At 6 weeks they may not be weaned properly and can have tummy troubles due to the fact they may not have been weaned...

Does anyone know if it is ok to keep 2 rabbits (mother and daughter) in the same cage whilst they are both pregnant? i have been told that they will be ok and suragate each others babies!!
I have never been in this situation so I am not an expert, but I have read that It will be ok for them to stay together while they are pregnant but when they actually give birth there is a risk that they will disterb each others babies and even attack them. When were they mated? I have read of sisters from the same litter giving birth ob the same day and they shared a nest even! thats...

Oh god you poor thing, to have that happen would be awful. I have had rabbit who have had a few litters and if it were to happen to me then I would leave the previous babies in the hutch and keep a very close eye on things. At 4/5 weeks old they are still meant to be feeding from mum so I wouldnt take them away unless she looks like she is being agressive towards them. Why dont you call the vet...

I put a wild bunny in with my pet bunnies, and she has 10 bunnies now. They don't act like my other bunnies, they're very skittish. Should I let them all go with my mama when they are weaned?
I think it was unfair to the rabbits who you bred, why would you do that? what are you going to do with those bunnies? if you let them go then you will be handing them freely to foxes and other wild animals who will eat them straight away. Have you thought about how your going to find potentially 10 homes for them all????

I have my rabbits in shed outside and winter is coming up here in NZ. Temperature is expected to drop no less than 0deg C with an average night of 5-10deg. I'm just wondering if rabbits will be OK in this cold?
They will be fine in a shed, infact a shed is best suited to bunnies who live outside. As long as they are draft free, dry and have plenty of hay ans straw they will be fine. You obviously love your bunnies... :-)

Is it a wild bunny? if it is you pet bunny who is mum to the baby, then there shouldnt be a problem as your scent is alrady everywhere in the hutch because you clean the hutch. If it is a wil bunny then I should leave them alone and let mum tend for them. Im afraid we have to let nature take its course sometimes. I should let the wild bunnies be alone, as it wouldnt be a good idea to let them...

Do you know what kind of food I should feed my rabbits before I try to breed them.... A judge told me once and I forgot.... thank you
make sure they get a good overall diet of pellets, hay and some veggies not too much though. They need a lot more nutrition when they are carrying a litter, plus unlimited water. My rabbit is pregnant and due to give birth in the next couple of days. I have put a nest box full of hay in her hutch, but she is more interested in eating the hay! She has not plucked any fur to line the nest yet. will the babies be ok without the fur?
Some rabbits like mine pull their fur just before they give birth. I watched my rabbit go through all the motions, she started pulling fur and after gathering bits of hay and straw to make a nest with along with her fur, she did this for a few hours. Then she went inside the hutch, gave birth - i saw her eating the afterbirth, then she went back outside and sat grooming herself acting as if...

My rabbit is supposed to have bunnies. BUT!!!! my sisters friend said that the rabbits (the girl and boy rabbits that are having them) have to be seperated what should we do.

You certainly have to seperate them by the time she has her babies otherwise you run the risk of the dad killing the babies. Mum needs her space and peace and quiet. make sure she has...

My bunny eats a large amount veggies and he is about two monthes old, i've noticed that he has been producing a large amount of feces is this normal??? Should i stop giving him veggies?
I would cut down on the veggies, infact cut right down! very young rabbits have digestive systems that sometimes cant cope with a large amount of greens, ans if they get a stomach ache then you may not notice as they can hide discomfort well. I wouldnt stop giving him veggies, but limit it to a very small amount per day. Then as he gets older you can give him more. Hope this helps!

Our 8 week old bunny lives outside but he has been reared outside so he is climatised to it. What you could do it put his cage inside the shed or if you do not have a shed then what we do is put a couple of old rugs over the top of the hutch to insulate it, and if you put plenty of straw and hay inside so he can make his own little bed. I keep both my male and female rabbits together in 1 cage. But I found him dead this morning. I saw 2 bruise on his body but with no bleeding or anything. Would it be because he was bullied by the female? What would be the most possible cause of death
Cant say for certain but I know that rabbits are very teritorial and they need their own space. They might have been fighting for their own patch, and the female won? Why did you house them together? were you planning on breeding them?
Answer to:
Hi my rabbit has started making a nest an pulling her fur out but has also bleed a little does this mean she is pregnant?
She has propabley already given birth to her litter, you just cant see them due to them being burried in the nest. Make sure she is fed well, alone, has a lot of peace and quiet, and she should be fine. Dont go near the babies to start with because the mum might get stressed and harm the babies.

I am breeding my dutch doe ! this is my first time and i am breeding with my best friends dutch ! i was wondering will i have to help my doe give birth? and what do i do with the babies as soon as there born ? thank you !!!
You have to leave the mum well alone... when she has been mated then let her have some well deserved peace so she can build a nest. She will likely build her nest on the 28th/29th day and give birth shortly afterwards. Make sure there is plenty of hay and straw for her to use, she will pull fur out of her belly when she is ready to make her nest. She will NOT like you to go anywhere near her...
Answer to:
I have 2 rabbits, I am not sure of there sex but one of them has been tring to mate with the other alot and now the one that is on bottom is making noise when the other tries to mate what should I do?The noise is kinda like a grawl/moan
In my experience the moaning would be to let you know that she is unhappy and distressed. If she is pregnant then she will not want the buck anywhere near her. Let her have her space so she can chill for the next few days/weeks and so that you can give her babies the best chance of survival. Good luck :)
Answer to:
When mating rabbits why isn't it good to leave the doe in the buck's cage overnight?
If you leave the buck and the doe in overnight then they will exhaust themselves as a succesfull mating only takes 5 minutes. The worry and stress you will cause the doe, bless her I think it is traumatic enough as it is being pinned down by the buck and having no choice in the matter! and by staying in his hutch she will be fairly stressed. You only have to leave them to it for 5 - 10 minutes...

Is there money in raising Rabbits? How much can you make and How?
I have just sold by two remaining litters of bunnies and I have just about broken even. After the amount of cleaning (we have several hutches now) so it takes me a good day to clean them, bying of food, hay, bedding, not to mention worrying about them I say it is a very hard way of making pennies! I think there is more money in breeding dogs but I am not going to try it!

My doe has given birth to four kits when can introduce them to my buck i have read that its at two weeks and then to sex and seperate them at 8weeks thanks
I would wait a little longer than 2 weeks, I have baby rabbits and I introduced the buck to them but all he wanted to do was get his wicked way with them, both boys and girls! He chased them around and around the garden until I decided enough was enough and I put him back in his hutch. The babies then looked relieved that he had gone! Your buck may behave differently though. I think you should...

Be carefull in what you decide to do, on one hand sometimes it is for the best that a marriage ends if it were to make everyone envolved life a happier life. on the other hand as someone else said the grass in not always greener on the otherside, so you may lead yourself to believe that you will be happier with this other woman but indeed you may not. I have a rabbit I thought was pregnant. In fact, my vet even said she was! Its been 35 days and no nesting, no fur pulling and she's even trying to get my yorkie (dog) to mount her. Maybe she's not pregnant? Any advise?
Just be patient and wait, if she has not had any kits in the next 2/3 days then she probabley is not pregnant. Just keep things really calm and stress free for her just incase. I wouldn't have thought that is she were pregnant she would be trying to get your dog to mate with her, purley because when my doe was expecting she didnt want anyone or anything going near her, let alone a dog! At times mine and my husbands relationship takes its toll and I wonder if I would be happier on my own, but we have 3 young children so have stayed together for that reason really. He is away on business at the moment (or so he says!) so I have got the house all to myself...:)

How many calories are burned giving birth naturally?
You might loose a few pounds, but whats it really about? giving birth naturally is very good for your body and your well being, and breast feeding is even better for loosing weight too. It can naturally flatten your stomach, give you very large boobs :) and above all gives your baby the BEST start in life. What could be better??? forget people who feel bad about breast feeding in public... I...

Why should abortions be legal? Given it was the womans choice to have unprotected sex, why should she be able to dodge the consequences just because she doesn't like the outcome?
And what about the man involved? I agree that the woman should have taken better precautions but the man should also have just as much responsibility as the woman when having sex surely not? USE A CONDOM!
I agree that a woman has the right to have an abortion but only if it is done early on. There are far too many women having abortions at 20+ weeks just because they could not face up to it...

How can i abort a child?i dont wanna go to the hospital cause of certain issues and i wanna do it asap.....i'm 1 week pregnant and i need to do something about it....is there any type of pills of things i can do to stop the growth?
Dont do anything that may hurt yourself, nothing is worth doing yourself any long term damage. First thing to do is to go to the doctor, and get their advice. But first of all really think it through to see if that is what you really want. If you are only 1 week pregnant, you may change your mind. What ever your decision is, don't leave it until its too late. My friend works in a ward at...

Be honest: When there are other people around, do you take the slightly bigger slice of pie or pizza for yourself?

OK, things are getting a little slow around here. We need some more crazy thoughts. Do you lay your clothes out for the next workday when you hit the sack, or do you fumble through your closet wondering what to wear at 7 A.M.?
Well I think about it when I am sitting on here on the computer typing my emails in the evening, and I often wonder how lovely it would be to wake up in the morning with all my stuff ready, but then I think, no, i really cant be bothered, and stressing in the morning has become a way of life for me...so why change!!? I like the way I am :-)

I HAVE A 3 Y.O. AND SHE IS JUST BAD. SHE DOES NOT LISTEN, NO MATTER WHAT WE SAY OR DO. THE DAYCARE SHE GOES TO WANTS US TO GET HER EARLY, SHE SO BAD. HELP!
What ever goes through 3 year old minds we will never know! Normally I would say at 3 years old, their behaviour reflects on our actions. If she does something bad, and your reaction is to automatically tell her off, she is getting your attention, weather it be bad or good, and that what she wants...your attention. She is testing your boundaries. I am sure that at the age of three you can quite...

I have gone to clean my 2 rabbits out and their bed was full of Fur I moved it and there was 4 baby Bunny's in there. I covered them back up and did not actually touch the babies. What do I do? The Rabbits were suppose to be two females?
Remove the other rabbit asap, as it causes a threat to the mum and her babies. (The rabbit which has the pulled out fur will be the mum) I have recently been in the exact same position, our baby buns are now 5 days old now and they were not expected. What I have done is I have left them well alone and will check on them in a few days (that will make them 1 week old), although people say that it...

I just picked up 9 rabbits. 5 females and 4 males. I have bred the females to the males. They have there own cage. its been 3 weeks, no sign of pregnancy, what am i doing wrong?
sorry but I strongly disagree with what you are doing, there are places like yours being shut down in England due to cruelty, they are being mis treated, neglected, and yes end up being eaten alive by a snake. I really hope that your rabbits see sense and dont breed, and lets hope that you see sense and decide that this whole idea was a mistake and you let those poor little helpless bunnies...

What is the best way to lose weight while breast feeding? i am wanting to breast feed.... I am 7 months pregnant... I have done well i have gained 16 lbs. Doctor is happy. We are happy!
You should not be worrying about loosing weight just yet... enjoy the end of your pregnancy and your baby! if you are planning to breast feed then you will naturally loose weight as you will be using up calories feeding your baby. If you just eat wholesome, well balanced nutritiously good food, then you will not have to worry about dieting or anything like that. If you are planning on dieting...

Your poor female rabbit is probably getting extremely stressed by the boy chasing her around. If you want her to live a happy life then please separate them :)

Ive had my rabbit since easter, just lately he has been biting the wire netting on his hutch is he sad? why does he want to escape?
I think that we all know that ideally all rabbits should live in the wild, and wouldn't it be nice if they could? but realistically domestic rabbits/animals need to be cared for the best they can by us. As long as you give your rabbit plenty of things to play with, nibbles, exercise and plenty of cuddles, you are giving him/her the best life they can possibly want.
