One of my three female rabbits has become aggressive and has bitten me. Why would she do this? Perhaps if she is kept in the same hutch as the other rabbits its her way of telling you that she is unhappy and wants her own teritory? Rabbits are very teritorial, and in my experience once you sepperate them they will not want live with their hutch mates anymore as they love their own space. But getting them neutered will spot this and then they can live happlity together. Only a suggestion :)

I have my rabbits in shed outside and winter is coming up here in NZ. Temperature is expected to drop no less than 0deg C with an average night of 5-10deg. I'm just wondering if rabbits will be OK in this cold? They will be fine in a shed, infact a shed is best suited to bunnies who live outside. I dont know about where you live but here in Cambridge UK we call the surgery at 8am and get the next available appointment the same day. Every surgery is different though and if you call after 9am you are unlikly to see a doctor, but an emerganct doctor at the end of the day and sometimes you have to wait 1 hour to see them. I keep both my male and female rabbits together in 1 cage. But I found him dead this morning. I saw 2 bruise on his body but with no bleeding or anything. Would it be because he was bullied by the female? What would be the most possible cause of death Cant say for certain but I know that rabbits are very teritorial and they need their own space. They might have been fighting for their own patch, and the female won? Why did you house them together? were you planning on breeding them?

If you leave the buck and the doe in overnight then they will exhaust themselves as a succesfull mating only takes 5 minutes. My new born baby was born with 6 toes on his left foot. Doctors suggest that everyting is ok, but I want it removed. Any thoughts? BTW it is a second big toe. he is a very special little boy, and if it were me then I would leave well alone if it was not causing any concern for your doctor. You could always get it removed later on in life if he feels that he wants it removed. Wait until he reaches the age for him to decide... I think its lovely!

Is it weird to go to Burger King and order a burger without the meat on it? no, my niece orders that all the time, she still gets the bun with cheese, chips and a toy... so whats the harm? lessen the chance of getting mad cow disease?

Ive had my rabbit since easter, just lately he has been biting the wire netting on his hutch is he sad? why does he want to escape? I think that we all know that ideally all rabbits should live in the wild, and wouldn't it be nice if they could? but realistically domestic rabbits/animals need to be cared for the best they can by us. As long as you give your rabbit plenty of things to play with, nibbles, exercise and plenty of cuddles, you are giving him/her the best life they can possibly want.
