Both myself, and another in my household share a computer. I have had an ipod for some time now, and so i have an itunes account. Now he has bought a nano. Is it possible to have TWO entirely seperate itunes accounts on one machine? It's possible to have separate accounts. However the iTunes software will migrate all music from these accounts to the software on the computer. If your wanting to keep music taste and purchases separate on each others iPods. That could be done through playlists and controlling the way the music is being synched to your individual iPods.

I can't remember it not getting worked on. Another road I travel for work is I-75 between Dayton and Cincinnati. I'm not sure what the problem in Dayton is. But that stretch of road has been under construction since I was a kid.

Spilled water on my iPod nano (2nd gen), and the water got into the slot where the earbuds plug in. I am letting the unit dry, though I couldn't get it open. I read that I could put it in a bowl of rice to draw out the water. Is this a good idea? iPods are sealed units and can only be serviced by Apple. It being a 2nd generation Nano. It's probably out of warranty anyway. And water is the one thing that will immediately void the warranty even if it was new. At this point I don't know how effective the rice will be. But give it a try, what do you have to lose?

Man unlicensed in euthanizing pets was euthanizing them: he was giving them a paralytic and then stopping their heart. The pets felt EVERYTHING..they basically suffocated to death and felt the pain as their body shut down. Thoughts? My first thought, why would anyone seek the assistance of anyone unlicensed to do anything? I wouldn't let a unlicensed plumber work on my plumbing. Why would I let someone unlicensed in euthanizing animals, have a look at my cat or dog?

In washington state, the "Death with Dignity Act" goes into effect on March 5th, which would allow terminally ill patients to recieve lethal doses of medication, if their pharmacist and doctor(s) allow it, permitting suicide. Any thoughts on this? There are so many examples where people die without dignity. I whole heartily support this. And can't understand why anyone would be opposed to this sort of expression of freewill.

Nano 4th generation not switching on. charged in in doc station but still no luck . frozen- the screen is off. please help Turn the hold switch on the bottom to the orange position. Then press and hold the menu and the select button together for about 15 to 20 seconds until the Apple icon appears. Once you see this icon on the screen release the buttons. If it's frozen this should fix the problem assuming the battery is charged. If it doesn't, then hook the iPod up to your computer and try and restore it....

My roomate hates my dog because he chewed something importatnt to her so while i was out she put him in a shelter without my permission. Do I have to pay to get my dog back? she took his collar off so now i have no way to prove he's mine. It would depend on the shelters guidelines. I'd explain the situation to them and find out what recourse you have to get the dog back. Assuming that your roommate doesn't turn around and pull the same stunt again. Any records from your vet might assist in proving he's your dog as well.

I just heard on the news a statement by a person opposed to the stimulus bill calling it the "Europeanization" of America and further saying it is not the job of the government to take care of the people. If so, what is the role of the government? It's obviously not just a job, but a career for the people that run the government. The government has taken our money in taxes for years. I can only assume now that they are contemplating giving some back in various ways. Some might think it's the first step to socialism.

A neighbor's teenage son shot 3 cats ~mine, my s/o's, and another neighbor's with a high powered bb. Then another of our cats was found bludgeoned to death. The judge dismissed the civil case on a technicality. What would you do if you were in my shoes? I would take my frustration out on something of value of the teenager. The lesson that should have been taught to this teenage punk by the court system needs to be addressed. But thats just me. Sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. :(

Hard to say depending on the person. I don't like venison when it's prepared by ordinary means. Say in a skillet or broiled in the oven. The Apple iPhone will work with a MAC or a PC. If the iPhone is originally set up on a PC that is. If it's set up on a MAC it won't. Depending on what you are anticipating it's primary function to be will dictate it's usefulness. As an alternative you could get a iPod Touch for a lot less money and just use the wireless features on it and keep your current cell phone.

I was setting up a friends Mac which is so different than mine. I put an e-mail icon on the desktop which I later wanted to remove and couldnt. Windows of course you right click the icon for a menu and choose delete. How is this done with Mac? You can open the dock and delete it from there.

Do you take hold of your cat/dogs front paws and dance with it when you're drunk? I have placed a little scotch tape on my cats paws in the past and had him entertain me with a few tap dancing steps when I've been drinking. But I can't say that I have danced with him before.

A friend and I both parked in one parking spot with our motorcycles. we both recieved a parking ticket . we were both in the same spot and the meter pays for the spot, not the vehicle. why did we both get tickets? I would imagine that the meter allows one vehicle or motorcycle to occupy that spot at a time. And since the officer that felt the need to write the ticket couldn't determine which bike paid for the meter time, he issued the ticket. I'd go to court and fight it. He may not show up and it might get tossed.

I'm packing up and moving to Texas for a couple months, to clear my head and rediscover the direction my life needs to be headed. Then I will be moving back to Indiana. Has anyone else just packed up and left like that for similar reasons? I did the same thing a few years back. It really put things into perspective. Not much had changed when I got back to Indiana. I have 4 videos on my ipod touch and none of them will show me the entire movie. I only see between 30mins of a full movie. Is there a way to fix this? Did they download completely into your iTunes player on your computer? It's not uncommon for downloads to get interrupted depending on your internet connection. I would check them in iTunes and try and re-synch the iPod again and see if that corrects the problem.

Do individuals get to write checks with no money in the bank? Is it just me? Common sense? People can write checks without sufficient funds in a checking account. But eventually they are held accountable for it unlike the government. The money that the US operates from is much like a slight of hand game. One has to keep a close eye on which shell the money is placed under. Once the money starts moving around it's often lost or unaccounted for.

Is it my imagination but are some places that sell "Kosher" food some of the dirtiest and most unappealing places to obtain food? I mean, isn't cleanliness next to godliness? It's ironic that you bring up locations that sell them. Hebrew National Foods in Indianapolis isn't located in one of the cities nicer areas. In this case, cleanliness isn't as important as cheap real estate.

If I were a film critic I might not always enjoy a certain genre of film that I would be forced to review. And that might has a bearing on the reviews I give for them. Which Travel Channel host would you like to accompany on a trip: Samantha Brown, Anthony Bourdain or Andrew Zimmern? Ideally it would be both Samantha Brown and Anthony Bourdain. Samantha because she's not to hard on the eyes, and Anthony Bourdain seems to know all the party spots. I doubt one would have much tolerance for the other though. Andrew Zimmern just needs to stay on the traditional menu items.

What are your thoughts? The key word in this question is donor. It's not as though the final outcome of making a withdraw from a sperm bank was unforeseen. It's like paying a fee to access your money through a ATM form another bank. Whoever decided the donor should pay support needs some help identifying responsibility.

How do you deal with a freeloader friend that does not contribute to anything (in a financial sense) and constantly expects everyone else to pay their way when going out anywhere ,or at parties? If a friend is having a temporary bit of trouble. I tend to look the other way and let it slide. But if this is a ongoing issue. In the natural environment this is an example of a sponge and not that of a friend. This person needs to be cut out of circumstances where they are allowed to get away with not contributing.

But there are those rare cases when they may have a certain amount of apprehension regarding their own instincts. This is the point that advice from others is usually cultivated.
