Trying to think of any other domesticated animals - turkey - Hmmmm, dunno why that's rarer than chicken; I think it tastes better. Goat-meat isn't a western tradition. (There was a case less than a year ago locally where a pet ferret was left alone with a baby while the parents were out and chewed off all but 2 or 3 of its fingers.) In the fairly well-off Kansas City suburb that I used to work for, there was only one cop per car, so they didn't need 2. In bad pars of big cities, there are probably often or usually 2 cops per car, and it's better to have it and probably never use it, than to need it and not have it.
