    Asker's Pick

Selected by the asker, Mister_Bromyde. (What's this?)

The two have no direct relation. Spoken language is quite unlike programming language.

Worked for me both ways. So, it will work for anyone else.Depends upon how much interested you are, and how less you whine.

    False.

Computer programming is based on logic.

Learning human languages is based om memorization.

    I'm a computer programmer, and I can't pass French.
Luckily, all programming languages are based on English. :)

    English - Hell no!
    Espanol - ÂĦInfierno no!
    Francais - Enfer non!

Two different domains, learning Spanish and French was way easier!

Computer programming is all about logic and applying it to create a program. You just have to learn the language PCs "speak" so you can tell them what to do. As with spoken languages it's not about the words you learn but the way you use them to form a sentence or in this case a program.

One of my cousins has gone blind, so he would be unable to learn computer programming. But, he should still be able to learn another language, by reading braille or else through his ability to hear, which he'll likely be doing at the school for the blind he attends.

It takes about 2 years to learn to program. Most language takes about that long, too. However, the two are very different. With computer programming you have to think differently than you would learning language. Programming doesn't come naturally -- there's a learning curve.

But if you stick with it, it will come to you. So my opinion is yes and no.

You can learn computer programming no matter how many languages you know.

In either direction , you have demonstrated enough brainpower to learn the other.
Does not mean you would be good at it, and like human langauges, some of them can be painful to learn.
