Help answer this question below.

I am 43 yrs old and when i was younder i was 5'3.I have just been measured by the nurse who tells me i am 5'2 and a half.I mentioned i was always 5'3 to which she says that has i am getting older the bones in the body start to shrink.

    its the cartliege inbetween the bones that wears away
