Dodgy Dog in a Sable COAT

Question

Help answer this question below.

Do you remember the old days of vinyl records when CDs first came out? We were told they would be practically indestructible and would last 100 times longer than vinyl. We've been had. CDs fail at the slightest scratch, don't you agree?

I submit that the problem may not be your CDs; it is more likely to be your CD player.

I have a circa 1991 CD player that never glitched on any CD that I put in it for the first 15-16 years of its life.

Even today it will play any disc with normal wear. Only seriously scratched discs give it issues.

Try those 'dead' CDs in another player, you may be surprised.

    Good luck.
