If a blind person asks you, "What is the difference between blue and red?", what would you say?

    I would propose using an analogy with perhaps smells of different foods.
    Whilst it seems impossible to describe the experience of colours to a blind person, it may possible to convey a sense of colours by saying that just as different foods have different foods have different smells or tastes, objects (including foods) come in different colours too. Looking at them, different colours provide a different sensation in the eyes as well as taste in the the mouth or smell in the nose.
