I feel sorry for Obama, because the way people are thinking of him, if he doesn't pretty much walk on water and produce loaves and fishes during his presidency, he'll get absolutely hammered. Do you feel the same way, or otherwise?

Watching the Obama election from the UK, he was portrayed as some kind of saviour for humanity.

So if he does fail, they have only got their own spin to blame, and it should serve as a warning to other politicians, focus less on spin, and focus better on policies.

We had Blair, which was all about style and less about substance of politics, and that ended terribly for the UK
