Should more girls start making the first move?

I'm a shy guy and I never know when and how to make the move. I just recently started to hang out more with a girl with whom the feelings of more than a friend is mutual. We talk about doing a lot of things (e.g., cuddling, kissing on the cheek goodnight, just to name some), but the shyness in myself is NOT helping me or the situation. I wish a girl could make a move sometimes just to help me get the flow going. Because once she starts, I think it'll be easy for me to actually do it and not have to be shy anymore because I know she wants the same thing I want (i.e. cuddling, etc).

hmm... i see what you mean. It isnt fair that the onus be on the guy all the time. Nothing much you can do, in my opinion, except give her lot of space and control so she thinks its ok to make moves herself.
I know many guys who say it's off - putting that the girl makes the first move. maybe she thinks the same too. But don't worry - shy and hesistant is any day better than cocky and arrogant!

Don't be confused anymore.....If you're not sure of your moves,..First thing you do is, be confident,don't be shy,just relax...then ask her if she likes what you want to do with her..ask her for instance like " I want to kiss you now, Do you like to be kiss ? ".If a girl agree then you're in,but if a girl disagree,don't force her..then don't lose hope,try to move on another act.
Remember....you should be gentle and polite to do the approach .
