    Hyperbole

The notion of God in the traditional christian sense is so antiquated and so representative of the ignorant times in which the concept of God was created that it clearly does not reflect an informed view of the nature of the universe. If those Bronze Aged authors living in tents knew more about the universe, surely they would have created better-suited notions of God and heaven that may have included an explanation of what happens with aliens.
