is there a pill that can help overcome alcoholism?

    Yes, it is called Anabuse. It doesn't make you not want it, it just makes you sick as hell if you drink. If someone knows they will get sick when they drink, they won't drink. I knew someone who snuck it to her husband, he eventually figured out he got sick every time he drank and stopped drinking. Even had a few ER visits in there because he could not stop throwing up.

    • If this is the pill I think it is it is made from the cudsu vine that is a plague in Mississippi and other parts of the south. the only good thing about cudsu or cudzu. and it will make someone who drinks sick as hell if they take it and drink...but it won't cure alcoholism
