Great answer and I mostly agree.
Young earth creationism is indeed very silly and illogical and very incompatible with evolution.

I respect that you are entitled to your beliefs, eternal0void, so please don't think that I'm trying to be offensive or start an arguement by saying this, but I would just like to point out the fact that there is a good amount of, I would say, strong evidence for Young Earth Creationism, and the way that scientests date fossils can a lot of times be faulty and inaccurate, not always, but still, they can be.

www.answersingenesis.org there is lots of proof of a young earth. Number one look to the spiral gallaxies. The arms of those gallaxies are spaced apart by nothing, the center on the galaxy is spinning faster than the outer galaxy mean the arms of the galaxy will collasp in only a few rotations which only take a few thousand years prooving a young earth. Even the by disprooves its own text, you just have to look in deeper, the hebrew word yom used in the first few chapters of Genesis for day meaning one 24 hour day. I do agree that young earth creationism is not compatible with evolution, but it doesn't have to to be truel.
