white males already have all the equality
most do not know what discrimination is or what it feels like.
    .
I remember a white guy telling a black woman to just ignore the racist slur AND the lack of promotion. Exact words: "It's no big deal."

    • "white males already have all the equality"
      .
As a white male that's definitely been my personal experience.
      .
"most do not know what discrimination is or what it feels like."
      .
I think I know what discrimination is, but I don't really know what it feels like.

    • Arisztid, if you are a Native American, I've seen discrimination there too. I knew many people from the Utes, Navajos and a few from the Apache tribe. Discrimination and stereotyping was a way of life for them the minute they went in the nearby cities or trading posts. I'm sure we can think of many areas where there is no equality. For white men, they feel 'unequal' only when they are disabled or very old. Women, other races, the disabled, I don't know who else is exempt from being discriminated except the white man. It's hurtful and is personal. What a general statement but I stand by it. Okay, I'm off the soap-box, Abers.

    • I am Rromani Gypsy. Here is a compilation answer of the types of discrimination/racism I have experienced:

People keep asking me so I finally made that into a compilation answer.

    • Arisztid, thank you for telling me. I will read the entire answer and more on Rromani Gypsies. I'm really interested. It sounds kind of exotic.
      .
This is more superficial, but does it count that I was declared a gypsy by the gyn when my Mom gave birth? I was born with the water and that rarely happens. I do have some psychic abilities. What was odd, was that in my last job, my boss said she liked having a Gypsy work for her. I never told her anything! I'm in a serious profession, so this was way out there, so she was a bit psychic. But Rromani Gypsies may not have anything like this at all. I will learn.

    • Uhm... no.
      .
We are a genetic ethnicity. You are born one or you are not. Psychic abilities do not factor into it.
      .
There are also more than one type of Gypsy. All types are genetic ethnicities. Some are related to us, a few are not.

    • So when a white male with better qualifications and experience loses a job or a promotion to a woman due to "affirmative action" or the company making up its quota, he's not being discriminated against?
