You're reading Orthodox Catholics: "The Vatican has determined that limbo does not exist, opening the gates of heaven to babies who die unbaptised"; http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,21595208-5001028,00.html ;reaction?

And we're still waiting on that verdicte over the Burning Times. And that birth control is better for everybody because it actually saves the lives of the babies who are born because now mom and dad can afford to feed them. Maybe even get them to see that letting preists and nuns get married is better because more would join and less would leave.

I absolutely agree with priests and nuns being able to marry or at least let married people join the clergy like other churches do. And I am from an area that is probably 95% Catholic and in my family me and my cousin are the only two who aren't Catholic and there is not a single person I know of who follows the no birth control prohibition and they all receive communion.

I've always thought that those were two of the stupidest ideas the Chathilic Church has ever had. And when you look at history and the Bible it's another thing Jesus never wanted. In the begigning even the Popes were married.Plus who wants to get marriage couciling from some one who's never been married?

I agree. But, since most Catholics don't read the bible they will never no that it's not in there like they've been told.

I believe that many of you are confused about what the Catholic Church believes. You just think you know. Buy the Catechism of the Church and you will learn what the church truly believes. Also every belief that you pooh hoo has much merit. When you start learning about why the church believes what it believes, it will make sense, though we may not like it. We are like spoiled children who want what we want but our parents know best. The Catholic Church draws what it believes from its own set of books compiled into one, the Bible. Yes, the Bible is a Catholic book from the beginning. I agree that as Catholics many of us don't read the Bible as much as we should but I can also say that if you attend mass at any Catholic church for 3 years you will have heard the whole Bible. We always have readings from the Old Testament and the New Testament at every mass. What is more you can be on vacation anywhere in the world, enter a Catholic Church and hear exactly the same readings that you would hear in your own parish. This is not the case with protestant denominations. Everyone has their own readings or not. The pastor decides in each church even within the same denomination what he will read and preach about. Each will interpret a passage as they believe even though it may be vastly different from another pastor of same denomination. Who is to know which is the correct interpretation though everyone says it was the Holy Spirit that guided them. How confusing. That is one reason why a good number of protestant pastors have entered the Catholic Church. Why? ---because they know it is the One True Church., As 1st Timothy 3:15 states ......the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth. If you don't believe it check out The Coming Home Network International.........www.CHNETWORK.org.
