Long Answer:
Behaving homosexually is a sin, a sin is any behavior contrary to the will of God. And the scriptures clearly teach:
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination." Leviticus 18:22
"There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel." Deuteronomy 23:17
"And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." Romans 1:27
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

But a person has not sinned merely for being attracted to another man. I don't find that anywhere in the above verses nor do I find it anywhere in the rest of the scriptures. We have not sinned until we act (what specific actions must be taken is a discussion for another time).

Are there some people who have a predisposition towards same gender attraction? I have no doubt about it. But that does not force them to act upon it.
Some say you can't expect someone to go there whole lives ignoring this attraction. And I ask why not? I'm only 23 but I have never in my life had sex and I never will until I am married, even if I never have the opportunity to be married. Do I have a predisposition to sexual desires, of course I do, but I know that I am the master of my body. You can live a rewarding happy life without sex.

Besides it's not only in sexual matters that we (society) expect people to rise above their predispositions. Research shows that certain people are predisposed to become serial killers (police use this research to profile and catch serial killers) Does that mean we shouldn't think of mass murder as a sin? Does that mean it's not at all the serial killers fault that he is the way he is? I don't think so.
On a less dramatic scale, some people are more inclined to snap at their kids, we expect them to learn to control that impulse. Some people are more inclined to over-eat we expect them to control that impulse. Some people are more inclined to be slothful and leech off of others and society fully expects them to get off their lazy butts and suppress the impulse to let everyone else take care of them.

What percentage of these predispositions comes from our genetics, what part comes from the way we were raised, and what part comes from our selves, our intellect, our spirit? I do not know. But we are not bound by our desires.

To often we think of life as a book authored by God alone. And so we blame Him when the story doesn't go as we'd wish. But as it's true that God is an author of our lives; we must not forget that one of the great gifts He has given us, and which we fought to preserve, was the right to co-author our own lives.

Now I want to make something clear. Homosexuality is not the gravest sin. The worst sin is denying the Holy Ghost (Knowing as clearly as the sun shines that there is a God and what His plan is for you and rebelling against Him and following Satan) Number two is murder. The root sin of the first is pride and the root sin of the second is hate.

So I ask who has commited the greater sin, the man who lives a homosexual life, or the man who hates homosexuals, and feels that he is superior to them?

If God created mankind, and He's omnipotent and omniscient, then why is homosexuality forbidden; for he should have created it?

I don't believe god had anything to do with it, it's a possibility genes gone wild, as for the bible that book has been rewrote many times my man and and as been said about man.

That's true as well as racial persecution, political persecution, and the suppression of women. I don't think God approves of this behavior, or such attribution of His name.

Well one should hope so, but really it's not always the case. There is often a large gap between what someone believes God wants them to do and what they actually do. This gap I feel stems from what they want to do.
