Do you think that, in today's day and age, someone would be able to say they are the Messiah like Jesus did and convince people with all the technology we have?

    I think it's always possible for someone to find a group of people that are looking for an easy answer, an excuse for their actions that comes along with "forgiveness," and a need to feel superior to others because they have found the "way."

    There's always an audience, if the person is fanatic enough in their presentation of the materials.
