Boot up in safe-mode and then bypass user logon by pressing the escape key (which is something you can't normally do if you boot up the regular way...unless, of course you never selected a password since the OS was initially installed). Once in: click 'start'/control panel/user account and then either enable 'guest' or create a new user account.
My Laptop hard drive is working more often recently even when the computer isn't doing anything.The disc is only half full. What's it doing?

You're reading I had changed my password on my laptop just yesterday and cannot remember the password, is there anyway I can retrieve my password without taking it to a specialist. I have a Toshiba laptop with windows Vista on it.
