How does one go about getting a neighborhood rezoned to commerical property?

    Go to the zoning board in your city, or county if the property is not located within city limits. You make a request. They will investigate and make a recommendation and in most jurisdictions there is a public meeting where objections to the rezoning may be heard. The commission will make the final decision.
