Can someone please explain to me what TiVo is and what it does? Can everyone please explain, because the more info I get the better chance I have of staying employed! Help?

• It does help. Every day I am faced with new challenges of the technical type on my job. This is the latest. I had no idea what TiVo was, I thought you could record and play games with it.
