Ignatieff supported Harper, now he's talkin' tuff. Layton was gung ho, now he open to a deal. Will Harper continue to walk on air for another year or two?

    Say what you will about Stephen Harper as a leader (he's terrible, etc) he is a master at parliamentary games, playing opposition parties off each other effortlessly. Because it takes all three opposition parties working together to bring down Harper's government, he only ever needs one partner to dance at any one time. With the Liberals now gunning for an election, you would think that the idea of the NDP (socialists!) or the Bloc (separatists!) working with the Conservatives would be out of the question, stranger things have happened.

      and the more they talk tuff, the more credibility they lose.

      I wonder if even Elizabeth May lost some credibility dealing with Dion so she can run against MacKay--and still lost!
