Not with the current technology. The best we can do at the moment is a portable solar array that can recharge a laptop battery in a few hours using solar energy.
We've had solar-powered calculators for years, but even the most efficient CPU we have right now draws more power than any reasonably sized solar panel can produce.
And given that most people don't consider anything less than 2GHz with a 17" screen to be a laptop, I think that the wait might be longer than you think uhless you are willing to lower your expectations a little bit and settle for something closer to a Pentium II in performance.
How will you know if your laptop's OS is genuine?
