As far as I've heard, no. Of course all the people that could answer this are...dead...

From near-death experience accounts, the brain calls up memories from your entire life and plays them out extremely quickly, almost like a summary at the end of a video game. These usually include memories of people you only saw when you were a toddler and never remembered, loved ones, etc.

Of course any Christian will dispell my answer and say that yes, you do see god. However I'm aethiest so believe what you want.

    Hope this helps,
    Good Luck

    • I am a Christian and I dont disagree with you. How would any Christian know if God is on the other end, if they knew, they are dead. Jesus, however, tells us that he will never leave or forsake us, so I believe that Jesus Christ will be there for me.

    • You don't 'believe' in us? Surely, you don't believe in our ideas, as we don't believe in yours. It would be like me saying 'oh, I don't believe in Christians'. Truth is, even if I didn't you'd still be here

    • LOL! That explains a lot about why you claim to be an atheist! BECAUSE YOU JUST DON'T GET IT! You answered your own statement, and the irony is it pertains to God too! hehe

    • I am an aethiest too. I do not believe a God is up there directing traffic. But I know the is a life force ,an energy, that we all return to to be recycled and some refuse to do so and stick around. After all, no matter actually disappears. Burn a log and the matter converts to a different form of energy, doesn't it?

    • I do believe in God, for if there were no After Life, then why is life worth living if all we do is work or butts off just to die and go into nothingness.

    • Sorry for you that you do not have mush love and laughter in your life, not to mention wonderment at the beauty of nature.

    • Just a quick side note; I have read in some journals and accounts that one theory that is gaining popularity is that, yes, the one thing we know for certain from people's accounts of near death experiences is that the whole of your life flashes before you. But what's interesting is that many people have told accounts that are in more or less reverse chronilogical order. One proposed theory is that the white light at the end of the tunnel is in fact the first human experience...birth.
Which would explain why it is quite literally the LAST thing a human would see before he/she died.
