Question

Help answer this question below.

I babysit a 10 mth old. Is this o.k.? She doesn't drink milk, formula, or regular juice. She gets flavored water. She ate homemade babyfood instead of store bought and was weaned off a bottle at 4mths and has to drink from a sippy cup. Fussy all the time.

Well, home made baby food is better for the child than store bought by leaps and bounds, especially if it's made with organic produce. Also, bottles are really unnecessary if she is capable of drinking from a cup. My son is almost 11 months, and he's been using a cup with a straw since about 6 months, when we started offering water along with his solids and breastmilk.

I am concerned that she isn't getting any milk. Do you know why? What is her source of fats, proteins, and calcium? Does she drink soy milk, almond milk, or hemp milk? (all of which are lactose free alternatives, if that's her issue)

Of course, I understand that you're not really in any situation to demand answers... so there's really not much that can be done.
