Can rabbits swim?

    • That must be true because my granddaughter's neighbor was mowing & mowed over a rabbit nest. This young rabbit ran out & across her yard & swam across their large pond where near the shore a bass grabbed it & pulled it under. It managed to get loose & made it to shore but was exhausted. She picked it up, saw it had a cut, she put antibiotic salve on it & put a sock around it to get the rabbit warm. She kept it in a box for 4 days to heal then released it. It hopped away. So YES they can swim.
