Help answer this question below.
A post was made by me here asking how to fix an mp3 player that is skipping from one recorded item to the other after playing each item for ten seconds.
There are two or three similar posts too.
Not being a technical person and completely new to computer and internet let me tell you how the prroblem was fixed in my mp3 player.
It is a Base brand, HK260 model, China make, and 4GB after struggling for many frustrating hours.
Someone here wrote that the ''skip'' was as the player is in ''Intro'' mode. The player must get out of that mode. The ''Intro'' is not in Settings. Intro could be entered when the Player is in ''Pause'' mode.
Having registered all that in my mind the Player was turned ''On''.
It began to play a piece and before it could skip to next item after 10 seconds it was put on ''Pause'' mode.
Now pressed ''M'' several times (in my Base player at top) to get to ''Repeat'' mode.
In the Repeat there are two options. The ''Intro'', the culprit, and the ''Random''.
This Random at first blocked my mind, as we are all methodical people and we hestitate to accept anything at Random. That's our mind set. But do we care if the player selects to play at random or in sequence of our recordings, if we do remember the sequence, that is.
Select the ''Random'' as against the ''Intro'' which plays all clips for 10 seconds as an ''Introduction''.
Couldn't think of any plausible earthly reason for the use of the ''Intro'' mode, at all !
The Random mode puts the player out of ''Intro'' and into
''Random'' and plays normally.
A point to note here, at times an option with ''Normal'' comes on with several other options. If and when it does, please remember to select ''Normal''.
It intizizing: how do I get rid of that and how do I play my songs that I downloaded?
