i agree. but ive heard an arguement, slightly following what youve said, but differs in the way that texting can actually dilute the sincerity of communication. as its disrtacting and takes away from physical conversations as you pick up your phone and redirect your attention.

That is true, though the same was said about e-mail...and probably the telephone.
