because the imposition of religion on children. if they want to pray and such, fine fine, but most schools force children to say the pledge, and if the child chooses to opt out, some schools i found tend to kinda look down on them, so i think for the mental health of children who do not believe in god, and or believe in a different faith,that under god be removed from the pledge.
