I am not sure where you study, but these are some good tips that work for me.

No TV, no music (unless it's soothing and non-distracting. ;-)). I sometimes even wear ear plugs because my husband watches TV while I am trying to study!

Additionally, be sure to do one thing at a time. It's easy to think "oh! I meant to do this!" and then go do whatever "this" is. From there you could get distracted by something else, then something else, forgetting what you were doing in the first place. The way I avoid this is keeping a notepad for those thoughts that pop into my head. They can be dealt with LATER, and writing them down means you won't forget.

Also, be comfortable, but not SO comfortable that you can fall asleep. Sitting at a table works best for me but is not always possible.

Those are just a few hints.

    Good luck!
