It gives you all the recorded information about where that car has been, where its been serviced, what's been fixed on it, if it ever had any damage, how many owners, if it was a fleet vehicle or rental car. If it's ever been in a flood or disaster area. I won't buy a used car unless I get the VIN # first and buy one. $30.00 is well worth me not getting stuck with someone elses headache. And when I was looking at multiple cars for my child, I paid the larger amount (isn't it something like $10 for one report, but $30 for as many as you want in a month's time?) and looked all over at many cars to see which would be the best deal and were taken care of the best. I would get a report for each one we considered until she decided which she preferred.
