When you bake pie should it spill over out of pan? If so, how do you get it in oven? Pie recipe here see description...

I made salt dough yesterday and then put it in the oven on a low temperature. It's been in there for about 6 hours collectively but it still hasn't gone hard. It's quite a thick block. How long will it take?
