I'm an LPN but would rather work in hospital administration. What would you say the pay difference is?

    That depends on many factors, including what specific position you're in and your target position, geographic location, # of years of experience, for-profit or nonprofit hospital, and more.

    You can check www.salary.com for basic salary information (free) or detailed salary reports (paid).

    You can also search for your target job title and the dollar sign ($) - this should yield results including job postings that mention a salary range.
