Does anyone believe in ghosts?

I am 20 years old, my stepfather was a marine and I joined the Air Force right after high school. I have moved more than 25 times in my life, and I have never lived in a place that did not have at least some spiritual activity. I have one recurring phenomenon. Tell me if you know what this is... He is a blond man. Most people describe ghosts as being wispy or see through, but he is not. He seems to be clearer, and crisper than everything around him. He has bright vibrant blue eyes and long wavy hair like spun gold. He wears an old fashioned white dress shirt, the kind with ruffles all over, and black slacks and shoes. I get no feeling of malevolence nor of benevolence. he appears to just be watching. I have seen him in several states. (both physical and mental) I am usualy the only one to see him but occasionaly someone else will to. He will appear for a brief second and then be gone. the odd part is that immediatly after I see him, something horrible will almost happen. I once saw him while walking down the side of the road. he supprised me and I triped and fell. when I fell I rolled into the ditch and a semi-truck whizzed by where I was standing a moment before. If I hadn't fallen then I would have probably been killed. this has happened many times in my life and I would really like to know more about it.
